ripsaw
I know this has been discussed before. I am confused. Where do I tap in to the high beam hot-and what color of wire? Also, where do I tap into the low beam and what color of wire? I had to order the Relay from Clearwater. They were wired in on my Vstrom with no relay. Appreciate any help. JJM
The high beam "trigger" wire is actually a ground wire. It's a yellow w/ black stripe if I remember correctly. You can find it in the wiring harness that comes from the bars and goes down the brake side of the triple tree. So tap it to the ground post of your relay. Don't use it to ground the lights.
