BVEBRAD
Looking for some help here, on two separate occasions right after starting the bike and taking off I've noticed my gear indicator just disappears. If I go back into neutral or second it returns. Luckily both times it soon corrected itself. I'm hoping to get some feedback on this. I'm betting it is just something that needs cleaned and WD40'd. Any thoughts? Brad Selbyville, DE
norcal616
dirty shift sensor...its located behind the front sprocket cover just above the front sprocket...its probably full of grease and oil...quick wipe out should solve the problem.. 2012 wr250f - C-class 30+ age group 2015 fz-07- Hordpower Edition-80whp 2015 fj-09- Graves Exhaust w/Woolich tune by 2WDW @120whp

redfjniner
I cleaned the whole area under the front sprocket cover and my 6th gear indicator doesn't come on anymore. Any other possibilities? norcal616
I cleaned the whole area under the front sprocket cover and my 6th gear indicator doesn't come on anymore. Any other possibilities? Did you pull the speed sensor and wipe out the sensor hole and wipe the sensor face off? On my FZ-07 it was packed full of grease...
