Thinking about drilling hole in the bottom for easier access to drain plug (2015 model). I did install the Mazda drain plug (flat, no protrusion) with allen wrench) and did shave down the protective guard to bring it flush to the new drain plug, all just in case). BBB Posted February 2, 2018 Share Posted February 2, 2018 I have the same plate and find it so easy to remove that I haven’t drilled a hole. You just unscrew the bottom allen screws and leave the attachment arms in place. Red 2015 Tracer, UK spec (well, it was until I started messing with it...)
