Hammers Posted June 11, 2018 Share Posted June 11, 2018 Hello from Manhattan fellow Tracer mates, (I'm British but been living here for 11 years). Picked up a 2015 FJ-09 on Saturday in NJ. Was deliberating between the Multistrada and R1200GS also but very pleased I arrived at this choice. Put 150 or so miles on this weekend and so far initial impressions are the motor is a peach - exhilarating and excellent torque delivery across a wide band. I picked it up, rode 40 miles and then had the suspension set up for my weight, (230lbs), and I have to give a big shout out to Ron and the boys at Washington Cycle Works who stayed open late for me and did a fantastic job within the confines of the limited range of adjustment of the stock suspension. If anyone has not had this done, make it the next thing you do. So far, I have added the OEM panniers, Ermax screen, it has a tail tidy, R&G crash protectors and Barkbusters - if anyone would like to swap these with me for the OEM hand guards please message me, thanks!
