krupted
Leaving work yesterday I keyed on the bike, put on my helmet, and then pressed the starter button and the engine cranked and cranked, maybe 8-10 times, but never actually fired. I stopped cranking and noticed a code on the display "091". I turned off the key and let it sit for 30 secs, turned on the key and let it do its fancy "boot up" display thing, and then pressed the starter button and it started like normal. The issue didn't happen this AM. I googled it, but I can't find anything for fault/error code 091. Does anyone know what it means? Only explanation I can come up with. Thanks Current Ride - 2003 Kawasaki KLR650
fjdog
As stated above There have been other threads about an error code 019 that have similar symptoms to what you are describing. If I remember correctly the solution/problem was the key was not turned fully in the ignition. I had the error 19 just twice and turning it off and on solved it for me.
