Other mirror options for the GT

Tried the "Search" function, but no luck.  Sorry if this is an old topic.

I'm looking for other mfr's mirrors out there that have right-hand reverse i.e., left-hand threaded, mirrors like the GT's.  I think I remember hearing that KTM may have a couple, but I didn't find anything really convincing in that regard.  I did also check out DoubleTakeMirror.com.  Bar-ends wouldn't offer me much utility, either.

I can always "adapt" the right side mirror to a right-hand thread and shop that larger market , if necessary.  Anyway, I'm still looking.

Thanks for your time and any info you may have on the subject.

look into mirrors for the FZ/MT/FJ-07/09 bikes... my FZ-07 and FJ-09 have the same mirrors and stem... maybe the FZ/MT-10 bikes?

I dont recall any threads about diffrent mirrors, but a few about "extensions" ...

My Suzuki DR650 mirrors will mount on the FJ.  I bought mirror extenders from Procycle for both bikes.  With the extenders, the stock mirrors are fine.

Norcal and Duhg, thanks for the feedback.  I'm actually good with the GT mirrors' stem length and fields of view.  But, I'm looking for mirrors that don't drift at the ball and socket joint like the GT mirrors drift, at least on my bike.  That's what's frustrating for me.  That ball and socket isn't as tight as I'm used to seeing, such as on my DL650, or on my old Bandit.  Once they were set, they stayed set and solid.  The GT mirrors...not so much.

It's just a niggle, but it's niggling me crazy.

Thanks again for the assist.

Yep, that's the little less-than-optimal PITA...I mean, ball and socket in question.
