wtgrant87
Just seeing what kind of deals people are getting on their bikes. I paid $8899+tax for mine in Indianapolis.
gabefzr6
I assume you are referring to an FZ-09 and not an FJ-09. 2008 Street Triple G 2015 FJ-
Guest mizzouxc
It took some calling around, but found a dealer that would do MSRP + TTL. Our TTL fees in my state are really low, so looking at a little less than $10,900 OTD. I don't feel like I got a "great deal" but I also don't feel like I've been taken advantage of. MSRP has some profit built in and I'm not offended by someone trying to make a profit.
wtgrant87
I was shocked when they told me the price was $8899. I didn't even hagle with them. I just want the thing to get here!
mcgmb
Died you get that price at Dreyer's, Westfield, or someplace else? I'm surprised they didn't stick in some freight or setup fees raising the final price. That really is a screaming deal you have there.
wtgrant87
Westfield. Dreyer wants MSRP and the sales rep there had no clue about the bike or arrival dates or anything. Westfield has the lowest prices I have seen anywhere for yamaha bikes. Not sure how they are making money but I'll take it!
xcsp
Here is a place in Cullman, AL to consider if you're near them or wanting to do a "fly & ride" purchase: http://dandhcycle.com/contact.html Many people have purchased FJR's at D&H over the years and have had very favorable experiences. I have not checked with them yet as I'm not quite ready to buy at this time.
winifredbarkle
Very nice! We rode out there last fall when my husband wanted an FZ-09, but I was very disappointed in the staff. We were wholly ignored the entire time we were in the store. But for that deal, I might be able to look past it. I assume that price doesn't include bags or any other farkles? winifredbarkle
Would you be referring to Dreyer's or Westfield? Westfield. We were there towards the end of the day on a Saturday so I'm sure everyone was ready to go home. Another dealer got our business closer to home. wtgrant87
I have had good luck with the customer service at Westfield so far but I live close and go on weekdays when it is usually pretty empty. I actually live much closer to Dreyer but their price was MSRP and they said they couldn't do any deals if the bike wasn't in stock.
winifredbarkle
Yeah it's a 3 hour ride to Indy from Cincinnati if we take the pretty back roads. For that price though I'm considering it next spring. I'm looking at also getting the low seat and bags as well. I'm forsaken by my short legs...
