vic
I’ve ordered Givi crash bars for my 900GT and before I install them just need to know the correct torque settings for the engine bolts. Can’t find it with a search, so any advice appreciated . Don’t want to lose my engine! Vic

jedmiGT
Did you use any threadlock on the bolts when you installed your crash bars?
vic
No. There wasn’t any before, and it didn’t seem necessary. I checked the bolts after a 150 mile ride, and all seemed ok. vic
Premium Member superfist Posted April 29, 2019 Premium Member Share Posted April 29, 2019 In the Tech Tips/How To' thread in the Garage section there's a helpful thread that lists the majority of torque values and such. I printed the list and keep it in my garage for reference 😃 I'm too cheap to just buy a service manual, though I should.
Achilleas
I purchased the same Givi crash bars 2017/10 and took them off this week as they started to rust already!
