  1. Wow, you are a gear whore!! Hilarious
  2. This helmet was bought about 3 years ago and has been used very little. Stored in non smoking odor free home. No damage, never dropped, excellent condition. See pics. Size: Large Helmet was $219 plus taxes when bought new. Price: $90 plus $15 to ship in the lower 48
  3. I got the smoke version of the Sport screen but I got the clear version of the Touring Vario. I don't do much night riding so I really can't say for sure if you get the smoked version. I would not think it would make a huge difference. Also, you are still looking over the screen (even the Touring Vario version) So just get the color you want. They are good screens.
  4. What kind of helmet? I finally gave up and bought the MRA Touring Vario. None of them are perfect but it is the best I have used. Motorcycles are always a compromise.
  5. I have a 2022 T9GT and wound up buying an MRA Sport for summer riding and an MRA Touring Vario for winter riding. I didn't want to spend that much money on screens as the MRA screens are not cheap but I am glad I did. My biggest issue was buffeting. The wind noise does not bother me that much. With the MRA Sport in the low position you get completely clean air with basically no buffeting. With the MRA Touring Vario installed and the deflector adjusted properly, buffeting is reduced by 80 to 90%. Very good. You do still get wind noise with both screens but it is not obnoxious. I have owned Puig screens in the past and they are good but the MRA seem to get the nod for the Tracer. I know this does not answer your question directly but maybe gives some insight.
  6. Thanks for the response. You are about 2 inches taller than me. I am 68" in height. I am able to use the stock screen for riding day to day but on longer rides at higher speeds (65 mph or higher) the buffeting begins to be tiresome and starts to give me a headache. I bought an MRA Sport screen to use in the summer during hot weather riding to provide more airflow and it does not buffet. Now I am looking for a screen to use during the winter that will provide good protection but reduce the buffeting. Like I said in my original post, I have ordered an MRA Touring Vario screen but it will take 6 to 8 weeks to arrive so I am considering the WRS Touring. If I order the WRS and I like it, I can cancel the order for the MRA. Based on your description the WRS might be a good fit for me. thanks again.
  7. I just ordered an MRA Touring Vario but to get the clear screen it is 6-8 weeks so I am considering the WRS Touring Windscreen. I am ok with the looks and the description talks about wind buffeting. Any feedback appreciated.
  8. I reiterate what Maverick ask, is it the standard height or low height corbin?
  9. Thanks. I might try one or just get the MRA Touring Vario. How do you like the Transalp?
  10. I will second the question of, "how is the ErMax with buffeting." I went on a long ride yesterday with a group of riders. Rode about 280 miles. Great weather. Great ride. However, I put my stock screen back on because it was chilly yesterday morning. The stock screen buffeted my helmet all day and by the time I got back I had a terrible headache. I should have left the MRA Sport screen on. I need to find a solution for cold weather riding. I am considering the MRA Touring Vario screen but at over $200 I want to make sure it will eliminate or greatly reduce the buffeting before buying. Anyone with the MRA Touring Vario please give your input. I am 5'8" and at lower speeds the stock screen in the upper position does not buffet very much, but when your speeds increase to 65 and 70 mph and up it gets bad enough to really be a PITA. Maybe the answer is using the smaller screen year around but the stock screen really does a good job of keeping the cold air off during colder riding. All input appreciated.
  11. Sounds good. Let us know your thoughts after a few days of riding.
  12. When i click the link it takes me to https://www.sendgb.com/upload/ I don't see how to download the manual. Do I need to create some type of account? Thanks
  13. This is in response to lather's post............ Wow, I feel the same way!! My bike runs fantastic except when taking off from a stop at low rpm's. The fueling is actually one of the best i have ever had. I don't understand when people complain about a jerky throttle. It is not jerky even in sport mode. But you have to feather the throttle when leaving from a stop or else it will stall on you.
  14. I also received the recall letter and I have already contacted my dealership to get this done. There were actually a couple of recalls. I am hoping the ECU flash will make the throttle response a little cleaner. In stock form if you are not careful you can actually stall the bike when leaving from a stop. The bike should have adequate torque for this not to happen. Please post your thoughts when you have yours done. Have you already scheduled yours?
  15. Thanks....might buy this. Looks like I will need it if I decide to pull the ECU. It would be nice if there was a youtube video.
  16. Wow..... Thank you I will look over this. Why do the japanese make things so hard?
  17. I don't have a service manual but may have to get one. I wonder if there is a PDF online.
  18. I am considering having the ECU flashed. Not for any performance gain but to smooth out power delivery, eliminate the fuel cut, and have the fan come on at lower temps. Can someone point me to a guide for fairing removal to gain access to the ECU? I don't know where the ECU is located on the Tracer 9 GT but I assume under the tank. thanks
  19. I just wanted to provide some feedback regarding my MRA Sport windscreen. I recently replaced the stock windscreen for the shorter, sportier MRA Sport to get better wind flow during the summer heat and also help with the buffeting you get from the stock screen. After putting about 100 miles on the bike with the new screen I have to say I am pretty well satisfied with the results. With the MRA in the low position you get full airflow and NO buffeting. The Tracer feels more like a naked bike or naked bike with a flyscreen. With the MRA in the high position you get less airflow, more protection, and maybe slight buffeting. Your experience will depend on your height, speed, and riding condition. If you are on the fence about the MRA Sport and you are looking for more air flow and no or less buffeting then give it a try. I think you will like it. I purchased thru TwistedThrottle and they are great to work with. I will post some pics of the new screen on my Tracer 9 GT soon. Let me know if you have questions or input.
  20. Can you post some pics of your bike with the screen? They do not show a screen for the Tracer 9 GT. I will contact them and ask if they plan to make a screen for the new Tracer.
