  1. Glad you posted this. I will check on mine. I have not heard anything from anyone yet.
  2. Grumpy I hate to see you go but you will enjoy the Tiger. I was torn between the Tiger 900 GT (or 850 Sport) and the Tracer 9 GT. More road riding led to the Tracer. Take care
  3. I don't see how free play could help with this issue but let me know if you are able to achieve anything. I will get used to it but I have never had a clutch that engaged as late as this one.
  4. Well at least now I know. I will get used to it. Thanks for the answers.
  5. Thanks. I will take a look at this video.
  6. I am sorry. I did a poor job of stating my question. When you let out the clutch you are "dis-engaging" the clutch, and when you pull in the clutch you are "engaging" the clutch. Or at least that is the way I understand it. What I should have said is when I am letting out the clutch it does not start to dis-engage until the lever is almost all the way out. Probably 80% out. I would like to maybe change that to 50% travel. My last bike was a Triumph Speed Triple. The clutch was much more predictable to me because it would start to dis-engage early on in the lever travel and I had gotten used to that. I would prefer to adjust this somewhat.
  7. My clutch (2022 T9GT) does not start to engage until the lever is almost fully extended. I am getting used to it but I don't really like it. I would like for the clutch to start engaging earlier in the lever travel. I have never adjusted a motorcycle clutch before. I have never needed to. How do I go about adjusting the clutch so that it starts to engage earlier? thanks
  8. I am very interested to see how the Corbin works out for you. Update this thread with all the details like if the ordering was easy, how long does it take to come in, and mainly how comfortable is it. Congrats on the new seat. BTW - your bike looks fantastic. Love the Akro.
  9. Never mind. I was able to find their website. Let me know if you have anything to add. thanks
  10. Can you provide a link or email and name to someone at that dealership that might order and ship the comfort seat to me here in the US?
  11. Thanks. I will continue to look into it. I saw something about this a few months ago but I can't find it.
  12. Wow that is a strange one. Glad you got it resolved. This good information to know if this happens to someone else.
  13. I have seen some information somewhere about how to remove the TFT and put a washer or grommet or something under the lower part of the screen that will tilt it slightly upwards. But I can't find it. It might have been on another site. Does anyone have any information on how to tilt the screen (TFT) upwards so it is not pointed towards my abdomen? I am on the short side at 5'8". It would be must worse if you are tall. thanks
  14. Yes, the red on the older bike is fantastic.
  15. That is good to know. I have found an owners site that has a lot of good knowledge and is very helpful. I think most Tracer 9 GT owners are older guys (like me) that have had quite a number of bikes. No crazy teenagers on this site 😆
  16. I am also interested in a good ecu flash not for higher performance but to remove flat spots, smooth out throttle response, engage the fan at lower temps, and any other nice gains. I am familiar with Ivan. How about Moore Mafia? There are others as well.
  17. I agree about the look of the pictures. Certainly can make things look taller, shorter, bigger, smaller........... I also have a modular helmet (Scorpion) that I really like but I am considering a modular like the LS2 that will let you pull the front all the way over and back so that you can ride with it open if that is what you want. Especially at slower speeds and for short periods. Not to change the purpose of this topic but how do you like the LS2?
  18. Thanks for the excellent information. Yours looks fantastic. I rode about 50 miles today and started finding myself letting the screen down when going thru small towns at slow speeds to let more air to my helmet then when speeds picked up I would lift the screen to its high position and actually it is quite good for me (5'8"). Very little buffeting in the high position. Your 22" looks pretty tall on the bike. Do you recall the height of the stock screen? I wonder if the 20" would work well for me. Thanks again. If you think of any other details let me know.
  19. Glad to hear your TURP surgery went well. I have heard mainly good things about TURP.
