  1. It is the black bomber jacket leather, but was more dark gray than black. It goes pretty well with my matte gray ‘15. It has the dark silver stitching and no welt. If you go to Corbin’s site you can click on the seat for your bike and do a virtual design with the different materials for each part of the seat.
  2. $100 for a Corbin is a steal, I’d snap it up asap. I sure like mine and feel it was well worth the near $500 price. Corbin uses foam that is quite firm, I doubt if the former owner would have put any significant wear on it if the cover material looks ok. The firm nature of the foam, and the increased ergonomic seating area makes it day long comfortable for me.
  3. For the next one, how about a grain elevator/silo.
  4. Old converted railroad bridge, now a single lane bridge for vehicular traffic.
  5. Adamr, I’d like to see a straight side shot of the bike with those side cases if you would. I have been thinking of the same setup. Looks good. Thanks.
  6. A crisp late fall evening. The new heated grips are great.
  7. I missed my '15 red one that was traded off; and am enjoying the gray one a lot. May need to give it a rest though, since the 1000 mile break in took only a week.
  8. It would be useful to hear what owner's experiences are as the mileage accumulates on their FJ 09, so: 1. How many miles are on your bike? 2. What wear items (other than tires,) have you replaced? i.e., chain/sprockets, brake pads, etc, and at what mileage. 3. What problems, if any have you experienced? 4. What is your overall opinion of the bike as length of ownership has progressed? Mine is at 9,000 miles, no new parts, or problems, and it remains one of the best bikes I have owned. Powerful, good ergonomics, and a joy to ride. Let's hear what your experience has been. The bike has been out long enough, that some must have some serious mileage on them.
