Ok, I'm ready to drop the money on the PR5's after my fairly short love affair with a set of Bridgestone S21's. Looking around I see thevisorshop.com has the best prices so far but I've never heard of them before. I've always used Rocky Mtn ATV previously because they seem to consistently have the best prices. Has anyone bought from The Visor Shop before?

Reading comprehension is key (and I’m not trying to be an ass). Sargent made their own seat for the FJ09. The bottom of the seat is stamped with the Sargent model number (as was said earlier). My seat also has a sticker that has the Sargent model number for the Tracer. My seats (front and rear) fit fine. Yes the rear took some finagling at first to get in but I’ve done it a few times over since Wednesday and it will attach properly without issue.

I haven’t tried the high setting. I use the low setting and just put the Sargent on like the OEM was.

It was the Tracer (GT to be exact) they used for development. It was a friend of mine that was the donor bike. Mine is the GT also. I have mine in the low setting also and I noticed the gap but I don’t feel it’s bad. I can easily deal with it for a better feeling ride. And yes, the pan is embossed with the FJ09 part number for the pan. Mine has a sticker on it with the Tracer part number near a corner. Sargent modified the FJ pan for the Tracer. My rear seat gave me some fits for a few minutes when I first tried to install it but I got it on. I took it off to put the OEM rear seat back on for the picture and when I went to put the Sargent rear back on it went on easily today.

I forgot; the silver color E-111 is very close to the silver under the seat. I had my guy there send me a bunch of swatches. Those two were the closest to me.

There ya go! And yes the blue is a bit lighter and brighter. I think it blends well with the blue stripes on the tank. It’s color G-50.

I’ll do my best to remember once I get home to do that. I don’t think the extra width looks bad at all. I’ve only done the test sit so I can’t speak to the riding but it sure feels better already. I think the person that had Sargent use his bike to make it is here. He said the slope was still there and had them redo it last week. I don’t know if that will be their “standard” build or not but the slope never bothered me on the OEM seat, so take that for what it’s worth. I do plan on a ride in the mountains this weekend so I’ll be able to report back more Sunday.

Received it in less than 24 hours after it shipped. Only did a test sit so far but it feels worlds better than the OEM already.

How is the charging system with those 50w lights? I accidentally purchased some lights on Ebay the other day that are 60w each and I'm apprehensive about putting them on where they'll draw too much to have the grips on at the same time.

I just received an email from FedEx with a tracking number. Seems my seat will begin its journey my way later today.

I was just coming here with the screenshot of the email reply I got from Dane saying the same thing. Anyone that will be getting a Sargent when they come out should ask for Dane. I don’t know if they work on commission or not for call in sales, but that’s what I’ll be doing. He’s helped me out in the past with a custom seat for my Speed Triple when I did a drop-in at their facility and has been very responsive and honest when I’ve emailed him about the Tracer seat. He’s a good guy.

Has anyone used this tool for setting the slack? I have a number of Motion Pro tools that are quality stuff but wonder about this one. I always seem to doubt myself when setting the slack on all of my bikes.

I sadly can’t show a picture of my motorcycle in this post, but I did stop by the Rock Store yesterday (in a rental car). My main two objectives were to replace the shirt I bought there two years ago that my washer has destroyed and to show the family The Snake from my visit. The Snake is closed right now due to the fires and recent rains that have reduced it to needing repaving. But I did get a personalized tour of the place and history by Rich, the owner and son of the originators. A nicer guy you will not meet!

I took a good ride on mine on the 4th and then promptly jumped on a plane for SoCal. I’ll be without her for a week + while play around in a rental car out here in SoCal....😪

I don’t like the wait either. How different could it be from the FJ?? At any rate I’m destined to wait. I’ve loved every Sargent so far and only tolerated every Corbin.
