    100%!!

Just got back from a few hours through wine country back roads that aren't on fire and my favorite twisties. Ho Lee Fuk, what a difference. Amazing. Honestly was a little skeptical shelling out that much cash but it is well worth it. If you're debating it, do it!!

It's insane how much of a difference, eh :)

You'll now be annoyed when a bump upsets the bike at all, you get used to the difference quickly.

I used to have nothing but dunlops for years as i felt they had a good feel for our roads, but bought some roadsmart 3's for my mt10 after years of michelins and absolutely hated the dunlops made the bike completely different and the handling skittish, could not trust the front and never had the re-assured and cushiony feel of the michelins.I also hate the dunlops that come with the tracer as standard only done 1300 miles and they are coming off before our winter they are so hard.

Exactly how I feel about them. They lack feel, there is just no feedback from them.
Mine were fitted new 3500 miles ago, and the rear is squaring off big time, is cupped in the middle and is now horrible on seams and whitelines etc.
    No more Dunlops for me.

I just ordered the K-Tech IDS 25mm cartridge kit and K-Teck Razor-R shock today.Im not much of a suspension guru so I will see if i can tell the difference from stock.Hope I wont be disappointed.

I got the front end done with springs and valves and the rear end with the K-Tech Razor-R , and I was like yourself, hoping it wouldn't be a disappointment.
It's amazing. You'll probably not even realise a lot of the time because things are so much smoother all round. The bike will feel remarkably different, and will take you a few rides to really get the feel of it.

In My defence I was originally pointing the camera at the other end and it was Stew that started us off with the pictures of sheep. I wanted to make the picture more relevant by including a nice motorbike in the foreground but the wee buggers wouldn't stand still for me.

In my defence, I just thought a brown sheep was strange (and it turned out to be a real conversation starter)

Plus, sheep taste nice when cooked well.

The iom TT is on my bucket list, I had reservations in 2015 for a suite and a rented vtr1000f like mine for race week but the bottom fell out of a project that I was financing the trip and I had to cancel luckily it didn't cost me anything.

How many times have you been to the TT?

Never been to any road race, it would make me go nuts on my bike and crash.

Thanks to you all for your replies.

I appreciate the friendliness of the views and thoughts being offered, it certainly seems a friendly forum.

Will get my new bike on 12th October, can't wait !

Now busy looking to add some additions, Heed crash bars, rad guard, axle protectors

Waiting for a new bike is worse than waiting for Santa when you are young.  Cant wait to hear how much you enjoy your first week on it. Your wallet is about to take a pounding :)

  7. Went for a wee ride down to the seaside, as my sister and her hubby were there with their camper van (rv)

Lovely warm day, about 55f, perfect dry roads. Just a chilled out ride there on the bike, and then a blast home again, so around 2.5 hours riding.

The last photo, if you look in the distance you can see mountains. That is the Isle of Man , home of the craziest motorcycle race on planet earth.
