Supposedly the part was already ordered and was supposedly shipped and was scheduled to arrive. But that turned out to not be the case. Dealership is not that close to me and I was advised previously that recall parts are unusual in that once the part comes in I have only 48 hours to get the bike in shop otherwise they're supposed to release the part back to Yamaha Motors. Was traveling for a bit and thought it'd be settled by now...

I'm super antsy from waiting for my bike to be back from the shop after almost two months of waiting for a part to arrive# supply chains are still jacked for what should be a simple part...😱 definitely itching to go on a ride.

Ordered one of these off Amazon to see if it will fit the Niken. Lock is made for the MT-10. Will post what I find after bike gets back from the shop.

It's interesting just how difficult it is for riders to get the screen adjusted so that they either get clean airflow with no buffeting/noise or zero airflow where they are shielded from the wind. It's a combination of Niken ergonomics for various height riders as well as aerodynamics of the windscreen. Makes me wonder whether an adjustable screen mount is available or can be made similar to the Ducati Multistrada adjustable mechanism.

Was shopping for front tires just because supply chain issues for getting replacement Niken fronts have been very iffy. Found that chaparral in the USA www.chapmoto.com has the Pirelli Diablo Rossi 120/70-15 for $101.47 USD per tire. Two tires plus tax and free shipping $221.65 USD. Revzilla only had the OEM Bridgestone A41s at $143.11 each. Dennis Kirk only had one left at $118. I figured I'd at least get the front tires since those are harder to find (couldn't find Michelin PR4s for anything less than $165USD per tire).

I stand humbly corrected. I forgot about this Swiss made tilting motorbike called the Quadro4. Was supposed to come to the US but pandemic hit and i don't think it ever got traction on our shores.
