exstowner Posted August 4, 2022 Author Share Posted August 4, 2022 I was wiring a brake light for my golf club carrier and connected hot to ground. All the lights went out. Disconnected the new brake light, replaced the fuses and the lights are now working. But the check engine light came on once i started the engine. skipperT Posted August 4, 2022 Share Posted August 4, 2022 (edited) It’s strange that a MIL light would appear after that happened based on those 2 fuses being blown. But never underestimate what the ECM is programmed to throw up a light for- you’ll need to clear it with an OBDII reader and the appropriate res 6P adapter, or swing by your dealership. I’d be curious to know what code was triggered.
