toast
In the menu under maintenance it shows how many miles since the last oil change you have to manually reset it though.
com3
And to reset it, you need to use the giant button on the cluster that says RESET. //slaps forehead
toonbobo
Does resetting the additional fields work the same way? Under Oil there is FREE-1 and FREE-2. I remember I wanted to clear Free-1 for a new rear tire, but couldn't select it. I'll try again tomorrow and report back.
toonbobo
So, no luck resetting the Free-1 and 2 fields. Can someone else try this? I've reset the oil meter before, so I know how to do it. Can't seem to select free-1/2.
Premium Member martyl Posted December 2, 2015 Premium Member Share Posted December 2, 2015 scroll down to free-1. When highlighted press reset twice on left side of instrument panel. When free-1 flashes press and hold for two seconds and free-1 will go back to zero. Same for free-2 A Motorcyclist's Church is the open road.... toonbobo
Derp, thanks for the detailed directions @martyl. I thought I could use the up and down arrow to select the different fields, like the trip meter.. I guess the reset button controls moving between fields. xpress
Took me a minute to figure that out too, it's just like the trip-a and trip-b selections. I reset the bottom 2 for my front and rear tires so I know what kind of mileage I'll get out of them.
