hal26
I am 6'4" tall and had a Total Knee Replacement 12 weeks ago. I NEED to get these pegs down a bit. I found a nice of pegs but are overpriced at $170 bucks...There has to be a better deal or at the very least a pair of affordable "lowering" blocks like I had on my Triumph Speed Triple -- a.k.a. the Torque Monster. Premium Member foxedupone Posted May 10, 2016 Premium Member Share Posted May 10, 2016 http://www.ebay.com/ulk/itm/381125551404 There are these to lower by a significant 39mm but you then need a way to adjust or lower the shift pad and rear brake pedal as well which is not included on footpeg lowering kits like this. Otherwise you have to flex your foot way up to reach these controls once you install lower pegs like this.
hal26
Thanks! That may be an option. I have lowered the shift lever quite a bit already as I prefer that position. Do you happen to know if there is an adjustment for the rear brake pedal as well?
suncoaster
Yes, the brake pedal can be adjusted with the procedure on page 3-13 of the service manual, here's a rendition of that page, be careful that the rear brake light comes on and turns off properly.
