Myself and some friends are riding from Houston to NC next week and I was curious of any hidden gems that we should try and see or routes we should take aside from the popular ones...

any input would be appreciated

Wayah road, 215 to the BRP, Lake Logan road, 276 to the BRP, 28 (aka Moonshiner), Cherohala Skyway, Devil's triangle in Tennessee, not too far from the Dragon.

The roads around Helen GA. 191 I believe.

Hell. just riding around is pretty good in that area.

Wheels through time in Maggie Valley, NC. It's near the Blue Ridge Parkway and its fantastic! Motorcycle history at its finest.
A Motorcyclist's Church is the open road....

No kidding!! I'll be there all next week on vacation with several of my riding buddies. Maybe I'll see you there.

Check out the Cherahola Skyway, fantastic ride from Robbinsville, NC to Tellico Plains, TN.

That is awesome. I just pulled into the driveway last night from spending a week down there. I had a total blast and did 2,100 miles in six days including 1,000 miles of twisties through the area down there. I can't believe how fast the stock rear tire evaporated, the first time I've ever wore out the sides of a tire!
