Greetings from the Washington, DC Area

Hello Listers,
 
I'm the happy owner of a new 2016 matte silver FJ-09, upgraded from a 2007 V-Strom DL650 (one owner w/39,400 mi.) that I sold to a new rider a couple of weeks ago. The FJ won easily over another V-Strom, a Triumph Tiger 800, or a BMW GS650/800. I'm a year-round daily commuter to the Mall in DC and use my bike for as much as possible: commuting, recreation, errands, etc. I was active on a V-Strom list and hope to contribute to this list as well. Looking forward to many miles on the FJ! I'd love to hear from other local & regional FJ riders...
