The blue forks make that color combo work.  In the States they have gold forks with the same blue wheels.  When I bought my '17 they had a nicely discounted '16 with that blue, gold, silver combination, I just couldn't do it.

I agree. I would have to send the forks off for powder coating.

Too funny... I never noticed this before!   That explains why I couldn't make up my mind on the silver & blue color combination.   I'm guessing I liked the Euro models with the blue forks, but not the US bikes with the gold...  subtle details make a huge difference.

I'm just the opposite. I don't like the blue forks I think it draws too much attention to itself. Try looking at the bike and not noticing the blue fork.
