3banger
Switching D (drive) modes, manual says throttle must be closed and warns not to do it while vehicle is moving. But can it be done while moving by just rolling of the throttle and taping the mode button? Is anybody doing this? Seems like it shouldn't be an issue but maybe there is something I'm unaware of? koth442
You can adjust D modes anytime by rolling off the throttle, pushing button. That's it. Doesn't care if you are moving or stationary. I do it all the time. '15 FJ09
3banger
Thanks, figured the warning was just lawyer stuff add to the manual; I bet Rossi doesn't even have to roll off the throttle.
anubi
I can confirm it does not work if you don't roll of the throttle first. D mode bottom does nothing unless throttle is off.
