In the US, the Tracer was called "FJ-09" from 2015 until what... 2018? 2019? something along those lines. Then Yamaha brought the US naming convention inline with the rest of the world. Many of us with the early model bikes are in the habit of referring to the whole lot as "FJ" because of this.

Hopefully we'll finally get to see Petrux & Gagne duke it out. I also saw that Petrux showed up to VIR and did a trackday like a normal person.

Dave is a great guy. Used to talk with him frequently when I lived in the area. I've had him work on my bikes too. Always a great improvement! He's fast as hell on the track too. He was on a 400 (maybe a 450 cripple triple?) and I thought I was doing well keeping up on my SV650. Turns out it was his warm-up lap. 2nd lap in he was gone.

I've seen those black streaks / residue on my cams before. They looked good to me.

You talking about the black stuff on the backside of the cam lobe, upper right hand corner of the picture?
