Supporting Member texscottyd Posted September 9, 2018 Supporting Member Share Posted September 9, 2018 100 miles of glorious dry & traffic-free roads. And 18.2 miles of the heaviest rains I've ever been caught out in... Totally worth it.
BBB
Lovely photos @texscottyd. I was out for 4 hours in the biggest deluge I have ever experienced on Saturday, so I feel your pain. The weather forecast was for light showers ? but at some points the drains couldn’t cope and the the whole road width was flooded. I had to stand on the pegs and hope the water didn’t go up the exhaust. I’m hoping my “waterproof” bike gear dries out sometime in the next week. Red 2015 Tracer, UK spec (well, it was until I started messing with it...)

I had a couple of moments like that as well, trying to stay on the crown at the center of the roadway as much as possible. I generally don’t mind the rain, but it was way too intense for my comfort yesterday.
