FJ Clitch cable vs FZ Clutch cable

I’m in the process of swapping my stock handlebars with some nice Rizomas which are an inch shorter each side. That’s 2 full inches for those of you studying “common core” math. The part number for the FZ clutch (2015) cable is different than the FJ cable. Does anyone know if that is due to a shorter handlebar?

I also have a Rizoma bars on my FJ, I cut and additional 15 mm off each side. The stock FJ clutch cable works just fine, no need to get a new one.

If your cable is still good, I would just use that same one. If you needed to replace it anyways, I would stick with a FJ cable, because the "risers" from the triple tree to the bar is taller on the FJ, I believe.
Ah. Good point. I never thought of the height. Thanks.
