BBB
While I had the front wheel off, and looking at the amount of road grime around the exhaust headers, I ordered an R&G fender extender from ebay. £29. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/R-G-CARBON-LOOK-Fender-Mud-Guard-Extender-Yamaha-MT-09-2013-Tracer-FERG0004CL It comes with two strips of self-adhesive tape, that hold the two together while you drill for the plastic rivets. Four 4mm holes and the rivets just push in. It looks like a very useful length and will hopefully keep the crud down some more. An easy fit. nhchris
Good looking install. I put one on also and find that it helps a lot. But, lowest header still gets cruddy in sloppy condx. The radiator is protected, however. I'd like to get the R&G rear fender but $160 USD is a bit rich for my blood. cb 1968 Triumph Bonneville 650 1971 Norton Commando Roadster 2002 Harley 1200 Sportster 2003 Honda ST 1300 2016 FJ
stumpy
I picked up the pyramid extender for mine...but I think the R&G is a bit longer. Not to mention the carbon fibre is definitely much nicer looking.
kltk1
The R&G looks very good. At first, I thought the CF would look out of place against the plastic fender but it looks great. Gonna look that one up...
bowlin01
Did mine last June (plain black version) works really well.
