Handle Bars , narrower but lower

The handle bars for 2015 ~ 2017 have the same part number (2PP-26111-00-00).  The  2018 handle bar, which I thought was the first year for the GT was supposedly narrower, and for all US models have the same part number (1RC-26111-00-00).  But for 2019, possibly the true first year of the GT (am I mistaken?), the part number changed again (B1J-26111-00-00), while the standard  2019 Tracer has a different part number (B5C-26111-00-00).

Now I have the fastest FJ-09, it being a red 2015, and I swapped out the handle bar for something quite a bit lower with a bit more rearward sweep.  I like the idea of a narrower bar, and though I can drill out and tap this bar a bit deeper and trim it shorter, I'll first have to check if I'd have enough  room for the KTM hand guards.

However, I'm a curious yellow and would be indebted to anyone who could tell me  what the width, rise, and sweep of the GT handle bar is, and how much room there is for the control pods plus some for mounting the KTM hand guards (which need at least an inch before the bend down from the rise section)??

Thanks

Bloody hell, 2and3 - that cockpit of yours looks like the Space Shuttle!   PS - my new 2015 is red - isn't it a luscious colour!

Riding a fully-farkled 2019 MT-09 Tracer 900 GT from my bayside home in South East Queensland, Australia.

Interesting that you mentioned the space shuttle, as I was an engineer at Convair back in the day and worked on that program...

All my bikes and cars are always red, and yes, the 15 FJ09 red is nice but the rear tank shroud coating scratches easily, so be careful.

Any input regarding the GT handle bars from you new GT guts?!!
