  1. Thanks for the reply. I see the bracket you mean, but I believe that is just for the Ohlins that comes with the remote compression reservoir as well (YA537). (the top canister on the setup). Mine does not, it is less expensive model (YA223). It comes with the exact same as the stock tracer gt, just the remote preload with the black turn handle. Therefore as shown in the instructions it is meant to mount directly to the stock bracket as the stock preload adjuster did.
  2. Not sure what you mean. The black bracket seen in my picture behind the Öhlins adjuster is the one that mounts on the passenger peg bolts, it’s black on my bike I guess. I don’t have the fancier ohlins with the remote compression res, just the preload adjuster. I posted the picture from the instructions showing it mounts right to the black bracket but the holes don’t line up. In this picture that is the same bracket showing the preload adjuster mounted to it.
  3. Anyone run into this before? A bit surprised from a company such as this one but just about done the Ohlins swap and according to the manual it should fit right onto the bracket, but the hole spacing isn't correct. (photo is with the other bolt threaded into the other hole) I will likely just drill the bracket hole larger but figured I would post. Ohlins YA223.
  4. Okay thanks. Not my first bike or even my 4th but never really noticed it as bad as this for whatever reason. Weird.
  5. After riding when its wet out the bike has a fairly pronounced oil or rubber burning or hot coolant smell that is quite noticeable when I pull into the garage. Anyone experience this with their bike? Any possible explanation? It's also pretty cold out, about 40 degrees f. Is it the catalytic converted possibly...
  6. Your PMs are locked. Is the seat still for sale?

I'm in Ontario, Canada. Would it be a hassle to ship to me?

    3. Ddog gt

      Ddog gt

Have no idea how much how many $$$ that would cost. I would have to get it boxed up first to find out. So cost + shipping will do this week.

I will need a zip code to see about shipping

  7. Okay, thanks, so I am supposed to be looking in the FJ09 section. I saw "Tracer 9 GT" and was looking there, but that is the naming of the redesigned 2021+ model, not what I have. That's good to know because I see all the options discussed above. The naming of these gets crazy, with there being different names of the same bike all over the world.
  8. For a 19 Tracer 900 GT I guess they stopped carrying a lot of the options for the "low level" design? It's only 5 different options and they are all the round can with the huge open tip. I only see the better can design on the "high level" options which I really don't like the look of. Do all the "FZ09 Tracer" exhausts fit my North America 2019 Tracer 900 GT? There are a few different names for it so I'm confused. This is what it says on the black widow site for the FJ09 section since there are a lot more options. I don't get why they are split into separate categories on the website if it says it fits 2019s. Is my bike technically a "2019 FZ09 Tracer"? https://www.blackwidowexhausts.co.uk/fj09-fz09-de-cat-exhaust-system-300mm-oval-black-stainless-carbon-tip-silencer-14610-p.asp
  9. Update Played the waiting game and finally picked up a "end of season" sale 2019 Tracer 900GT with 27,000km (16,800miles) for $7400CAD ($5300 USD). Quite a deal in my opinion. A lot of bike for that price. Now to wait until next season.
  10. Unfortunately even before all the border fees involved in the process like taxes, that's $12,650 CAD just in currency conversion. In the end much more expensive for us. Back in the day when $USD-$CAD was par maybe
  11. Joined the forum to get some advice on toronto area pricing check, seems like a great bike. If you are from the area and can help feel free to post in my thread in the Canadian section.
  12. In the market for this bike and would appreciate your thoughts on the 2019's with low km market value. I know the 2021+ was a complete redesign, what do you think about these last gen bikes for example: 2019, 7,000km, some upgrades, $13,500: https://www.kijiji.ca/v-view-details.html?adId=1662690204 This is my front runner, is $13,500 a bit high? Or in London, 7,700km, basically stock. $12,700: https://www.autotrader.ca/a/yamaha/tracer 900 gt/komoka/ontario/19_12584160_/?ms=motorcycles_atvs&showcpo=ShowCpo&ncse=no&orup=3_9_9&pc=N2E 2J2&sprx=-2&modalXS=1 Similar bike km wise, cheaper but doesn't have the led lights or top case etc, unknown tire condition. Thanks
