  1. I agree with you on that. Many insurance companies charge huge rates for it because of the ninja name and past experiences with squids killing themselves on the ninjas of old. Time to dump the ninja name.
  2. Holy crap where do you live?
  3. I only rode it for 20 miles, but damn I fell in love with that bike. I don't know what they put in that new seat but it's the most comfortable seat I've ever ridden on. The 2019 ninja 1000 did not handle as well as this new one. It was good, but this new Ninja, I would take it to trackday stock , it's that good. And the Power, my God there was power everywhere, smooth power at any rpm. I was in fifth gear doing 25 mph and just twisted the throttle and it took off like a rocket. I'm seriously considering buying one. Deal of the century at that price.
  4. My co worker let me take his new bike for a spin. Wow, I really really liked that bike. Smoothest fueling I've ever felt on a bike, handles really well and the TFT screen goes light or dark, like this forum. Most comfortable stock seat I have ever sat on. I know sport tourers are out and ADV bikes are all the rage, but that Ninja 1000 is pretty damn tempting. They knocked it out of the park on the 2020 Changes. $12,139 at the local dealer. Hmmmm.
  5. Have you put your pin on our member map yet?
  6. They make em with far cheaper materials, and that is really bad considering that we are talking about safety equipment. Then, somebody wrecks, slides and all the skin gets ripped from their hands, down to the bone. No thanks. I'll stick with the real thing at RevZilla.
  7. yep Shoei GT-Air Helmet | 31% ($200.00) Off! High-tech, yet elegantly simple. The GT-Air features fully-adjustable... And Shuberth helmets are my favorite and are the quietest I have ever ridden in Schuberth S2 Sport Elite Helmet | 38% ($249.01) Off! The S2 packs Schuberth’s famous acoustics, a drop down sun visor and...
  8. Welcome to the forum, thanks for joining us!
  9. I consider my scuff marks a badge of honor. Where I live, "Idaho" roads are often sanded and full of new Californians that just moved here and can't drive for shet. Scuffs and dents happen. I grew up in Maine and we always complained about Massachusetts drivers. So I suppose that scuffs and dents happen there too.
  10. Not rubbing that one out. Its phucked, order a new one. Or, sand it out and repaint it pink.
  11. In my state , over half the motorcycle deaths that I see on the news are Harley riders. Sometimes not their fault but here, you hardly ever see a Harley rider wearing a helmet and when they do, it's usually one of those half asses half helmets. I take the advanced STARS riding course every other year in the spring to keep my habits refreshed and one year, this guy shows up on a big heavy bagger and he had to borrow a helmet from the instructors. We got to the fast swerve and power stop manuveur and of course, right on cue, he low sided the 800 lb piece of shet in front of the entire class. I think that Harley marketing and attitude has killed more motorcyclists than anything else.
  12. And certainly don't use it and then take a piss without washing your hands first.
  13. This stuff works the best for me . This bluing happens to all bikes, but if you must remove the Blue, this is the stuff to use. https://www.amazon.com/Blue-Job-Chrome-Polish-Perfect-Motorcycle/dp/B015GGY61Q/
  14. I know the mayor of Kamiah. She can drink us both under the table. I'm up for group rides, gotta see the members go in it.
  15. Supporting Members however have auto GIFS ! Click GIF and then type what you want in the search bar.
  16. Guys we have the fireside chat board, and I wish more of you would use it. Come joke around with me, post off topic stuff. Im even loosening up the rules in there a lil bit.
  17. People were a hell of a lot more smarter back in the early 2000's. Your avg internet user was tons smarter than now. Forums were harder to use then, people had to know a lil BB Code to post pics. Today, Social media has made people dumb. point and click is all they know. Nobody wants to learn any code. And yeah, the content sucks. Go to FB, there is no useful info, just everyone bragging about what they bought, they no longer even post links to share the good deal they just found, just pics. Heyy! look at me! It's sad.
  18. I guess I could create "tittie" board , and a Beer section.
  19. Maybe we are just an "older" crowd than some of the other forums? Im 54 yrs old, and I'm pretty damn boring.
  20. Ok, suggestions? I admit im not on here cracking jokes, but I work a full time job and am come home and work on this forum in the background. After that. im toast and in bed. One guy doesnt make the forum posts. Im totally open to suggestions here.
  21. Back when this forum was on the old software, at fj-09.org, we used to be a pretty damn fun forum. Alot of jokes were cracked, fun was had, the comradery was at a much higher level. In the past six months, I have been messaged on FB by people complaining that we are boring and that the old forum was more fun. That a lot of the old timers left because they got bored. We have great tech info, a lot of you are great mechanics with some serious technical expertise. But, what can we do to liven things up again around here? Ideas? Anyone?
