Anyone have any idea if any of the older screens fit the GT+?
There is not much information on this AFAIK.
Any inputs will be appreciated as from what i understand, the adjustor is slightly taller due to the larger TFT screen on the GT+

I also have issues with the RHS of the mirrors.
I also locktite my RHS mirrors and they seem to be good for now.
Btw there seems to be a revision on the mirrors.I broke my LHS mirrors and got them replaced and noticed the difference.
I noticed them stems are thicker now
The part where it screw in also seems to be chunkier now as well.
Hope this helps.Â
Update: It seems like the mirrors are also found on the Latest T9GT too.

I have the aukey CC-T8. It is very tight and stays in place. Plus it fast charges my Samsung Note 20 Ultra and does not blow the 2A fuse if u only use 1 of the USB port at anyone time.
This is a link to it: https://aukey.sg/products/aukey-cc-t8-2-port-quick-charge-3-0-car-charger

I have the original Neotec. Anybody who's owned both Neotec versions, is the Neotec II worth the extra $$$ over the Neotec I?
Â
I have both.
the neotec 2 is 100% worth the extra $ over the neotec 1.Â

I ran through a set of T32's. They performed fine, where good in the rain, and lots cheaper than the Road 5's I normally run, but I found they wore quite badly, got much less mileage out of them than Road 5's as while tread depth wasn't used up, they squared off much faster on top (lots of long, straight roads to get to windy roads from here), and the sides cupped really badly.  Probably my fault, really, just pushing them harder than they're really intended to be pushed. I'll go back to Road 5's, but the T32's are not a bad tire at all, and are a pretty good deal.
The dual compound R5's resist squaring better, and their tread profile tends to hold up to really aggressive riding better.  But, you pay for it: they're significantly more expensive. If you can get good mileage out of the T32's, they're a damn good buy.
May i check what tire pressures you normally run?
Currently on a set of RD5GTs. Considering the T32s next.
Thanks!

Yes it is a tad taller.
I've had both Bagster Bultex and Yamaha comfort.
Bagster ready lux was off chrome burner. It was too soft. My butt could constantly feel the seat pan.The Yamaha comfort was abit too hard and tall for my liking. But the material that was used offers huge amounts of grip as compared to the original seat.
For reference, i'm 5 7 and have a 32" inseam.
Eventually I sold both and reverted back to the original.
YMMV. Hope this helps.

I personally want a Tracer 7 GT with cruise control state-side; it's probably my favorite looking bike at the moment and I love the sound of a piped CP2. I'd buy it day 1.
That's why we're all here isn't it? The FJ/Tracer 9 series are the only "sport touring" bikes under 500lbs and still over 100HP and has a full electronics suite available; though theoretically you can slap bags on any sport bike for touring and deal with the shitty mpg/range *cough* MT10 *cough*.
Its called "Empty tank" for a reason 😆

it'll make your butt fat! Most importantly, your butt may not smoothly follow after your handle bars squeeze through!

Â
The fjr panniers are not much wider than the city panniers.
surprisingly they are still a very easy to squeeze through as long as the handlebars clear.- 1

Before I order...trying to confirm this seat will work with my 2020 GT...I am going to assume yes but it says 2018/2019 in the description. Wish I could find it in all black with black welts. Not sure this red matches up with the 2020 metallic red. Any input would be great!

Those look great. Did you add the reflective tape?
Thanks!
Yes i added the reflective tapes myself when i was bored of how plain the lids looked. 😄 -
I do not think they will fit.
Yes get the FJR panniers. I am on a set of those and they should have been the panniers that came with the bike stock. They are amazing!
On 4/26/2021 at 9:48 AM, Jayzonk said:Well, I am trying to make good use of the OEM panniers as well. I do not want to have a set of brackets for holding aftermarket panniers because it won't allow me to use the smaller ones. I think the only option is to get some FJR panniers. It will be the wrong colour but that doesn't really matter. Perhaps I could do a vinyl wrap anyway
