have mixed reviews so far on the yammie comfort seats.
am waiting for the Sargent seats for the GT. had good experience with them on my previous bike.
-
i hit 200km/h which is about 124miles/h with 3 cases. the bike was floating left and right. the cases holded up though.
-
Normal speeds in sg. License expensive. Hah!
-
For me i'm getting 150kms before it drops to half.
Then i get another 140kms before it starts to blink.
so maybe about 300kms before reserve comes up.
Manual calculation takes it up to about 20/21km/l

I don't believe i feel it though the handlebars, it's more a case of me hearing a "clunk"
i heard that the sound made by the floating disc brakes.

Yes it fits. But only with the givi universal mount. Not the m series baseplate.

A common form of knock-down is a complete knock-down (CKD), which is a kit of the completely non-assembled parts of a product. It is also a method of supplying parts to a market, particularly in shipping to foreign nations, and serves as a way of counting or pricing.
SG should be cbu models

Took the Tracer to the Corbin plant in Hollister, for their ride-in, custom seat build. Told them my main plan was to loose most of the slop toward the tank. And as was mentioned earlier, I wanted to avoid some of the grand-dad look that their seats can have, so dumped the piping and went for some of their more modern looking cover materials. This was what they built for me...

I love my Madstad. I found the tall version of the Cal Sci wasn't quite tall enough to put me in still air. If they made it any bigger, it would likely catch too much air and put excessive strain on the stock windscreen bracket. The Madstad uses its own bracket which is much, much sturdier than the stock piece. I am 6'2", so I would recommend the tall Cal Sci screen to anyone 6'0" and under. I would like to post mine in the classifieds, but am working on getting enough posts to be able to list things there.
post a pic of it? heh

My tracer GT has the whine too i find it awesome especially with the QS change from gear 5 to 6!
See the below video of the MT09SP, Even though its not a GT, its the same CP3 engine. I think you can hear very clearly the engine while at gear 6 at around the 19min mark.

We all know how low the tracer's clearance is.
I was looking into guards that would protect the oil sump.
it seems like other than skid plates, the other alternative is this oil sump guard.
I don't fancy the idea of removing the skid plate for every oil change. Therefore i'm looking at this alternative.
Suggestions/inputs appreciated! Let me know what you think! Thanks!

Very interesting and subtle changes by yamaha.
could someone post a picture of the ABS sensor for the older models? -
-
@stgolfer thats from the brackets to the shield.
what i mean is from the brackets to the mounting holes on the bike. Does madstad provide separate wellnuts for those?
-
@stgolfer does it come with metal wellnuts?
-
This yours? @stgolfer

Thanks for the insights!Givi have a separate listing for the GT. It seems to be in production now (until a few weeks ago it was still in manufacturing.
I personally believe the fittings are identical but most vendors are playing it safe and not releasing models for the GT until they have tested the fitting to ensure it is correct (which is the right way to do things).
So far, from what I have seen on the manufacturer websites, based on model numbers the following seem to be interchangable:
[ul type=disc][*]Sw-motech Crashbars[*]Radiator guards[*]Akropovic exhausts[/ul]
The tracer GT rack from givi is the SR2139. Its different from the older tracer.

Hi Sir, any possibility if you could attach a pic of it? And where did u get it from?this is an interesting post, because some OEMs are stating their product is not compatible with the 900Gt even
I can confirm that the fehiling crash bars for the 16/17 tracer fit the 900GT. I have them on mine
-
Not too sure if this has been started but i'm kinda curious.
More to the accessories.
[ul type=disc][li style=font-size:16px]Givi TN2122 crashbars will they fit on the newer tracer?[*]How about the front fender extender? Do the older fender extenders for the front fit the newer model GT?[/ul]
The list goes on and on. Hope to learn more.
Thanks in advance!
