OZVFR
Trying to install a set of driving lights on my 15 model. What are the options?
Premium Member 1moreroad Posted April 12, 2022 Premium Member Share Posted April 12, 2022 I installed PIAAs on the front fender mount bolts with some thread lock to keep them from rotating. I installed them about 2.5 years ago with no issues. Silver bezel is flood lights. They add more light to either side of the bike and help fill in light on the ground to look for deer, potholes, etc. https://www.piaa.com/store/p/657-PIAA-LP270-2-75-LED-Driving-Light-Kit-SAE-Compliant.aspx
Rick123
At the ends of Heed engine guards in my case.
OZVFR
Thanks guys, I'm definitely not a fan of increasing unsprung weight, and I don't have engine guards. I might have to get them for this but was hoping to find another way. Still trying to find out where the original Yamaha fog lights bracket attached. IIRC the fog lights attached to a bar that went directly under the headlight assembly. They use the same attachment points that you can see that @Rick123has used to fit the beak. This thread may help 1 Red 2015 Tracer, UK spec (well, it was until I started messing with it...)
Supporting Member piotrek Posted April 12, 2022 Supporting Member Share Posted April 12, 2022 (edited) Adventure Tech is pretty good IMO. I have inexpensive 10W LED lamps hanging off it, but there are options galore out there. https://www.adventuretech.biz/fj-09-light-bar-install.html Edited April 13, 2022 by piotrek

Thanks for that, I’ve already got the lights, gone for some 25w flood beams that should do what I want.
