rear brake, is this where this plug goes?

I swapped in a new roadtec 01 in the rear today in place of the stock.  Noticeably narrower and I think taller although that I did not measure.

Turns out my newish no mar ch200 will not grab the fj09 17 inch rear rear. No settings on the grab blocks quite work.  It's between sizes as far as I can tell.  Maddening I can tell you because I could not grab the wheel securely.  Once the tire was off the issue was very clear.

Any way while I was working I notice a rubber plug on the ground.  I am guessing that it goes as a spacer/gasket in the hole for the front mounting bolt of the rear calipers.  Seem right?[/img]

Yes - that's where it goes. It's essentially a rubber gasket that protects the grease on the bolt that goes in there. The bolt attaches to the caliper and the bit that extends into the carrier has no thread so can slide in/out. The rubber gasket protects that section and keeps dust/dirt out of the grease.
