Which non Yamaha quick shifter?

Recommended Posts

As per the title.  I am currently researching non Yamaha quick shifters and wonder if there's any experience on this board?

In the running so far are:

  • HM
  • HealTech
  • Translogic

At the moment based on web/YouTube reviews I'm leaning towards the Translogic as that appears to better cope with a wider range of revs when upshifting.  So if anybody has an aftermarket, non ECU-flash dependent device I'd love to hear about it.

It's not answering your question, but a quick blip of the throttle and you can clutchless upshift. Done this on all my bikes, except the HD. Some do a quick shift that will downshift which I guess is worthwhile.

Yes I have been looking at a great many sites regarding clutchless changes. My own conclusion is that I’m going to give it a try. As far as I can determine a quickshifter is doing nothing more than what your right wrist does.

A right wrist can do many things...

My vote is for the Woolich Race Kit which was an add-on to my ECU reflash by 2WDW using Woolich software... The QS works both up/down shifts or GP shift pattern...even has a secret weapon called LC( ya know Launch Control)
