Guest bmidd
Do you have a source for the 3M masking and is it just generic sheets or precut for the bike?

bobdog
rszk, Awesome job. Did you need a mount plate for the 50L bag? How's the Ermax windscreen working for you? I'm 6'3", so wondering if it'll work for me. 2015 Grey FJ09 with a few tweaks, 2007 HD Street Glide - Good Bike + Good Friends = Good Day.
Guest rszk
Hi Bobdog, the 50L top case is from Yamaha and needs the Yamaha specific mounting hardware and top plate. I think there is some varying opinions for tall riders on the Ermax screen. Probably your best bet would be to just go to the Madstad bracket and screen system. Has the best adjustability on the market if not the prettiest screen.
Guest rszk
Received my flush mount LED front indicator/running lights today. Easy installation. Put the large resistor in between the 2 panels that are a bit of a pain to separate:
grogsym
Looking good, however I have never been a fan of making my indicators smaller. If anything, dozy car drivers need huge luminous signs!
Guest rszk
True, but they are much brighter than OEM lights. I prefer to think I'm invisible to the cagers all the time no matter what size of bike or lights.
thruster8999
Looks like a really nice fit. Where did you buy theses?

Guest rszk
I got my radiator guard in. Not near as nice as the Yamaha European version as this is from Ebay. It is nice and light and requires no removal of body work however.
Guest rszk
So we had another return to winter here in Central Alberta. Probably around 15-20cm!! So...what to do when you can't ride again. Well my wheel vinyl decals came in, so I did that instead. This is the 3mm variety as I prefer them to be subtle. They are from this vendor on Ebay: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Wheel-Rim-Trim-Tape-Stripe-Decal-for-Motorcycle-Car-Truck-fit-16-19-inch-rims/261166283567?_trksid=p3693.c100102.m2452&_trkparms=ao%3D1%26asc%3D20140212121249%26meid%3D81be7a9420a34dfe8670c156ef697fb9%26pid%3D100102%26 They can be applied with wet application technique which I did on the rear tire. Then I tried the dry application technique as I refined my installation from the rear to front tire. Nice product. Cheap and easy installation if you take the time. I did the World Crosser decals on my Super Tenere, and this is a bit more difficult due to the thinner decals and full wheel application. They come in 4 pieces per side of the rim. Guest rszk
Yamaha branded sliders came in. Super light. Not too sure how much protection they would have in a situation.
hupelde
Yamaha branded sliders came in. Super light. Not too sure how much protection they would have in a situation. Hmm...they look different than the one sold in EU for the MT-09/Tracer (1RC-211D0-00-00)....(not much better regarding protection though)...:
