just came back from a 300 mile ride. I have replaced the stock bar with protapers, removed the ugly batman handguards (useless in a crash) and added sato bar end ss weights + grip puppies. Minimal vibes. No tingling and numbness at all. Plus my bike has that one of a kind look

the temptaion is strong, but I know Oregon police. They love to give tickets. This is actually getting support in the legislature this year so fingers crossed. I've been so tempted to split on 84 on my way home from work. Traffic has gotten sooo bad in pdx.

I know how you feel. I got so tired of the rain in Portland I drove 1200 miles to Death Valley. And if I do say so myself, and i do P-) , it was totally worth it. We are expecting 4 more year sof rain in P-town but I have some nice memories stored up.

direct wiring takes care of that I have always had this problem as well. And with the way the outlets are mounted its difficult to use a rubber band or something.

thanks! I just ordered the seat cover, for the price its worth a shot. Sad part = its going over the seat concepts seat! As for the CC, I'll hold off for Cruizin to make it happen. I bought my kit before Cruizin started working with Brandondist.com so plug-n-play wasn't on the horizon. I have also been working behind the scenes with Joe (brandondist.com) on adapting this kit to our FJs. I still have some minor programming adjustments to make however the unit works great. It held 73-74 mph on the hills here in San Diego no problem for about 60 miles.

Its on a Penske 8983 I dont know if they are the same part or not. I have a 550 lb 5 inch 2.25 ID spring for sale though $35 shipped if it works on the stocker.... Doc, did you do this on a stock shock? If so, part # Please!

upgraded my 500 lb spring to 600 lb. Rear suspension done! Need to order a few more parts for the front now....

for people still deciding I went with these: shiny and pretty, but I am not in love. They are still a bit slippery when wet and transfer much vibes. Since I just bought them they stay for a while but I will most likely switch to Super Ten pegs down the road. Anyone interested in a trade? P-)

those are nice! I decided that I would buy the absolute cheapest pair I could and they were/are pretty awesome. Perfect fit, finish is really nice. It bothers me a little to buy some much from China but realistically charging me $200 10 years ago for a pair of levers (CRG) was pretty brutal. They were great levers but totally not worth $200. My nice new ones in gold cost $23.59 delivered to my door. I would have gladly paid an American company 50-100 for a sweet pair.

Paladin, a set of what? I see the led lights but then mention warming your hands.... nevermind, I think you mean the things that lift the wind deflection. They look interesting because I have run out of work the last couple days without my gloves and those deflectors as is dont deflect jack. I want to pull the whole heavy mess but if these things work it would be a possibility.

this may sound lazy and disrespectful to my machines..... BUT, I have never used a torque wrench on any oil drain plug in any vehicle I have ever owned. Hand tighten plus 1/4-1/2 turn additional tightening with a socket. Also, never had a problem.

Peporter, I have those same pegs on the front. They are a bit vibey. I bought the replacement swivel pegs from Stoltec moto.

bobdog, mine are pretty broken in but I dont have any problems shifting. The toe box is more like a cowboy boot than a big squared off area like many of the dual-sport boots. You give up some protection but gain immensely in comfort. These dont protect as well as my A Star MX5's but they are again, way more comfortable. As we are riding street and maybe gravel on these I wouldnt think it would be much of an issue. I would even go so far as to say I would buy them again knowing what I now know. In my mind there is no higher praise for a product
