    I've always found Firstgear & Tourmaster stuff to be leaky. This is an interesting watch - the guy from Fortnine (here in Canada) does some pretty clever videos. His findings will support what you've experienced with your Dainese boots! Cheers Rob

    Same here. I had 2 Ninja 1000 before switching to the Tracer GT. My second, a 2017 had issues with running hot and even overheating that no one could suss out, so I took that as a sign the motorcycle gods wanted me back on a Yamaha. 😎 No regrets here. Rob

    Are you located in the KW area? Depending on your height, you might find that a shorter screen is better than taller. I have the MRA sport screen on mine and it works great for me. Congrats on the new bike!

    Missed you at the show yesterday, Piotrek! I spotted the black GT right away. And then gave the guys at Apex a hard time as I tried to buy one from them last year and they couldn’t get one. They had a nice grey model at their booth (same as mine) as well. Cheers, Rob

    Kelly’s Cycle Centre in Hamilton. I wanted the black at first too, but fell in love with the grey after seeing it in person. Donald is a solid guy...very dedicated and passionate about bikes. He has some tires for me that I need to pickup in the spring. Rob

      Sorry, but it's not happening because it's no longer needed. Our old forum software kinda sucked for mobile, this new software doesn't.  Tapatalk is a huge file and they basically take the entire database of my four years of work and turn it into their version of it. The new forum also has tons of features that wouldn't work in tapatalk software. 

      Login with your device, let it save your login credentials when prompted, and turn notifications on, they can adjust to your personal preference. 

      We do not need an app.

    It's funny how some shops in SW Ontario are getting them and some aren't. I tried to buy mine from Two Wheel in Guelph, but they got messed around by Yamaha and didn't end up getting any GT models. Do you ever take your bikes to Platinum Powersports in Clinton? Rob

    Thanks! That’s how I ride as well in the same size boots. Question - how does this finish stand up? Is it easy to keep clean? I normally go with Carbon Fibre cans...pretty easy to clean without worrying about tarnishing etc.

    Can someone that has this exhaust installed comment on the clearance between the exhaust canister and their right foot? From the pictures, it looks like your right heel would come into contact with the pipe. Maybe it’s just the angle of the pictures that make it look that way? Cheers Rob

    Justin - are you located anywhere near Toronto? If so, GP Bikes always has great deals on helmets at the Bike Show in January. I plan on picking up a Shoei GT-Air or RF-1200 at the show next month. You can try on helmets to your hearts' desire and choose then. Just a suggestion.

    Hey Husqy Do you by any chance live in Waterloo? I often see a red FJ ride past my office which is located at Erb & Westmount Road. Seeing that bike ride by definitely helped push me in the direction of the Tracer! Cheers, Rob

    Are you talking about me? I did not install the akrapovic exhaust, but, I was seriously considering it, or possibly, the Hindle... but I chose the Yoshimura because it has is what I believe is the best combination of lightweight, power and sound all the while retaining an exhaust catalyst. It continues to be a great choice. Why did you want to retain a cat? To keep the fuelling somewhat consistent with stock so as to avoid a re-mapping? Cheers Rob
