  1. holy crap you guys! I just got back from a ride on the sleds in -22C and had a blast! but wait...maybe there is something wrong with me...lol.
  2. I don't complain about winter with a couple of these in the garage too. Makes the winter fly by.
  3. Well I went ahead today and adjusted my APS while it was raining this morning. What a difference. No more jerkyness in STD mode and a lot less in A mode. My values in Diag 14 were 18-101 now they are set at 13-97 My values in Diag 15 were 14-101 now they are set at 12-96 What a nice easy cheap adjustment to make this bike even better. IF you were thinking of trying it, do it. Now this winter I will send out the ECU to be remapped. Until then this will have to do to finish off the season.
  4. Thanks for that info. My Penske is the exact same setup, and the knob also requires a wrench, my buddies Penske from Stoltec has a banjo bolt connection on the side of the knob mount. I'm not too happy with the reservoir mount though. Could be a more refined mounting system. Does anyone have any thoughts on that?
  5. well I finally got my seat..took a bit longer than expected. It is much higher than my sargent seat but way more comfy. The only problem is... I'm tippy toed now at a stop. Only put a few kms on it so far but it's a weird feeling seat. It doesn't feel like I'm sitting on a regular seat...it feels great so far. When I get some more miles on it I will give a better review of it. Build quality seems really nice.
  6. Who did you order your Penske through? Yours mounts differently than mine (Traxxion Dynamics), different length hose? My buddy ordered his through Stoltec and his mounts different still. I got it through Bayside Performance in Vancouver. The hose goes straight into the top of the reservoir not with a 90 degree fitting if that helps any. The downfall of that is, the compression knob on the reservoir can't be turned by hand, you need to use a wrench...that sucks.
  7. Welcome to the ‘Suspension changed my life for the better club!’ Thanks for the addition...I'll wear the badge with honor.?
  8. Please do share more thoughts about your Terry seat when you get more saddle time in! I've placed an order for mine with a build date in December. I can tell you that it is much higher than my sargent. From almost flat footed to tippy toes. I was able to take it out and put about 35km on it. It is really different than my sargent. Where my sargent is much firmer and flater and digs into the underside of my legs causing some nerve pulses, this is more plush. But not in a soft plush way...its weird, seems like your not sitting on a regular seat. After sitting on it for a while...I don't even notice that I am sitting on the seat. wierd...but really nice! With the seat being taller I am glad I installed bar risers but I have noticed in the short time of riding that my shoulders seem getting a bit stiff. I need to get a couple hours on it and get a better feel for it.
  9. Finally got my Terry Adcox seat today. Slapped it on and went for a quick ride. Noticable difference over my Sargent seat. Quite a bit higher than the Sargent which makes me just on my toes when stopped. I can't wait to go for a couple hours on it. Slammed a Penske 8983 shock in the rear and had a local shop slide in a race tech front revalve kit. This thing is a totally different machine now. Once I get it remapped this winter it should be close to perfect for me.
  10. looks good...do you have a ride report yet?? i have to wait until september for mine :'(
  11. its ok...i have a sargent to use in the mean time
  12. I have reached out to Terry to get one for mine. Hopefully he will get back to me soon. It appears that the "nose" of the seat is angled upwards, does that stop the sliding forward over top of your bag like I get on my Sargent? My Sargent is better than stock but now that it is starting to break in it is getting worse for me. I have a 10 day ride coming up in early august and am hoping to get one of these seats before hand. What was the average wait time to get one from start to finish? I'm looking at 6 weeks lead time now.
  13. Finally got my SW-Motech Engage tank bag after the mounting ring was back ordered. Now it's installed and I must admit it is a really nice quality product. I got it for everyday riding for carrying a few extra things to free up my pockets but not for long trips. I would buy a bigger one for trips.
  14. Yes it is a sargent. It's a world sport performance seat with top stitch, no welt. DTX with grip zones . $309.95 US but I got it on a promotion and paid $269.66 plus shipping. Feels much better just sitting on it with the bike on the center stand...too much snow here to try it for extended time.
  15. this came in the mail today...feels goods so far sitting on the center stand. Cold rainy with freezing rain in the forecast for this weekend...have to wait for a bit to really try it out.
  16. i have that same color in Innisfil...just picked it up as a new non current
