  1. Mine came in 10 days from Netherlands and I live in NY. It was delivered today, but no one here to sign for it - so now I get to wait one more night.
  2. Put me on the list. I missed the last round when a bunch on this forum all upgraded.
  3. Oh boy. My seat is being delivered tomorrow along with the snow in the forecast. I envy those who have a longer riding season.
  4. well worth the wait - and a fairly easy install to boot. Hardest part of aligning up the shift rod with the internal cogs. You will know what I'm talking about when you get there. Have a beer or two ready to ease the frustration.
  5. Let me see if my trigger pull gauge goes up that high - lol. But you make a great point. I need to do some measurements before I start the swap. Still trying to find a decent pressure switch that is needed. For some reason the clutch does not have a mechanical switch, whereas the brake did. I had one delivered today but not a sure that what i want that one on the final product. I'm not good at documenting stuff, but in this case I will. Always have to give back to this forum whenever possible. Even if no one ever reads it, its part of the knowledge database.
  6. All good questions. I’m assuming next to no maintenance other than keeping the fluid fresh. Easy with proper tools. Weight will nominal difference, I’m guessing 1-2 beers possibly. I’ll have the clutch and the slave here Friday. Clutch pull with my slipper will be melted butter. Any suggestions on where to get a custom hydraulic line? Need to make some measurements and get that ordered and then we’ll have the $500 answer. Or at least I will.
  7. Yummy - Mailman never looked so good. New master cylinder going on as soon as I can get a single line banjo bolt. Ships assuming no ABS and 2 lines for each caliper, so had to order a new banjo bolt. Out of the box, impressed. This is going to be a really nice addition with some unknown benefits I'm sure. This is why I'm moving to the dang hydraulic clutch. It's the only true companion from an aesthetics point of view.
  8. Mine just cleared customs in NYC - should be here Wednesday / Thursday
  9. Here is where I stand today with mods: · Andreani Cartridges - Front · Ohlin’s YA-5353 Rear · Yoshi Fender Eliminator · Super Blinky-Bright Rear Break Light · Ivan’s Flash · Full Yoshimura R77 Exhaust · Slipper Clutch · Rizoma Bar · Rizoma Grips · Rizoma Bar Ends · Rizoma Mirrors · Rizoma Rear Pegs · Rizoma Oil Cap · Sargent Seat – Soon to be swapped with a Bagger Seat · Healtech Quick Shifter Soon to add the Brembro Corsa Corta Master Cylinder
  10. Currently nestled inside my clutch. Lol. Added that fine upgrade over the winter last year. And ordered from the source noted above.
  11. Has anyone here successfully added the Brembo RCS19 Hydraulic clutch to is bike? Looking for winter projects and want something to match the Brembo Corsa Corta master cylinder I just ordered. I did a lot of web research and seems like there is little out there on the FJ-09 and hydraulic clutches except for Magura. By the way, Magura is great, have them on my mountain bike. Thoughts and / or reasons to completely avoid? Otherwise I guess come Feb there will be some data on the conversion. It’s not cheap. Could only find one company to that makes the slave cylinder to actuate the clutch. Any advice here is welcome as well.
  12. I didn't even know that was an option - and a cheap one at that - thanks
  13. Very nice - next question , how much do you like it compared to stock, or is that just a dumb question all-around??
  14. My new Bagster seat shipped Monday from Netherlands - Ebay. Can't wait. Bagster Ready Luxe Bultex Seat Yamaha MT-09 Tracer 900 2015-2019 Black Silver Bultex foam, yes or no?. BAGSTER READY LUXE YAMAHA MT-09 TRACER...
  15. I know there are a few on this forum that have theses and I really want to add one as well, but what you'll doing with your mirror?? Seems like we lose the mirror mount if these replace the stock..
  16. Yup. Purchased new last Christmas. Put 4000 miles on this season. Condition is as new. Bike, nor seat have ever seen water.
  17. Thanks. My Sargent is 2” wider which drives me nuts. Make the bike look too wide for the way I have mine set up. Will be getting a Bagster over the winter for sure. Guess there’ll be a Sargent for sale at some point as well. Lol. Thanks again for measuring. Confirmed what I see in the pictures. Much narrower and conforms to the bike line much better.
  18. Not sure why the image stomped on the text. 6pt 5/16. Something tells me 2lbs is too light so will stick with the 7-8 reference. Should I lucubrate them before torquing down?
  19. Kit came from Valter Moto (was not cheap - and yes, light as hell) - 6 point 5/16ths - odd not metric???
  20. Saw R1 with an aluminum engine bolt kit (in glowing blue) and immediately needed to have one on my FJ. They just arrived from Italy today. I'm going to sound ignorant here, but do I need to lube these? is so what kind? And i'm assuming the torque specs are different?? Any idea what they would change to? Any advice here would be much appreciated.
  21. Def the Bagster I was looking for. Not sure why I thought it was leather. I’ll pull up your post. Thanks. I think I’m going to make the move over the winter. I’m huge on aesthetics as well and although the Sargent is sweet it does not flow on the bike. The width of the rear part of the seat looks like wings. I get why, but looking for something that is not much wider than the rear fairing. @dazzler24 thanks again. @wordsmith - thanks for all you input in past posts on this seat. Appreciate it.
  22. When you get a chance can you measure the width on the widest part of the main seat?
  23. I think you are correct - I have a Sargent seat which I like, but looking for something slimmer. The Sargent seat fans out and my ass aint that big. Add to that I spend 90% of the time hugging the tank and leave about 3 inches behind me unused. Looking for narrow from front to back.
