Finally cleaned the bike and pipes. They looked rusty and yellow like the first pic. and I installed the SW-MOTECH Aluminum Engine Guard Skid Plate.

I kind of understand your feeling as I had the same one until I found my cable. It took me quite a while to find it after I got everything out of the tool set and under the seat. only at this point, I was disappointed enough to put everything back as if I didn't see it in the first place. 😉

I placed my order for my new seat with Terry ! I currently have the Sargent seat which is "good" but I can see the difference from the Terry's seat. I ride through cold days so I asked Debbie to keep my heating sheets installed. looking forward to get my new seat by coming season ( April ) !

The cable that comes with it is almost useless. I am using one from Amazon

I am not sure about the dealership trade value but the prices on kijiji for what you are saying are way higher than this. You can sell it on kijiji with or without accessories.

I see your point. FJ/tracer is a unique though. Some customize and ride their FJ as an adventure, some use it as touring and commute while some use it as sports bike. You don't care if its clean if you ride as adventure. I ride and customize my bike as touring. I should have changed the title and add "not for adventure folks" 😜

It sounds like a good idea 😉 I am not selling any time soon. I will clean it once when the autosol arrives just to feel that I can do it later if I need to. 😁

It Protects the bags and your legs in case you dropped it. I would buy it for sure. I know I will drop my bike.......again 😂

Just finished installing the r&g radiator guard. I thought it will be 90 minutes job but it took me two days😂 the radiator guard is not optimized for the fj. I had to do my modifications to get the side holders for the fairings installed. it wasn't a hard job but it looks easier than what it was. Just wanted to give a heads-up that you will need drilling on both sides if you want to install this model on the FJ. Let me know if you think it was worth it

I am not sure, they should be the same but the ad is saying 2015,16 and 17. You can buy it if you like it and I can buy it from you if it doesn't fit yours. This is a serious offer because I am hesitant to buy it but I kind of like it.

This is a good idea.... I think I will do it too. I wanted to ask you about the 2 circular ones next to your windscreen, are these the Yamaha ones? I had handguards with lights on my previous bike and I found that Cars saw me even in rainy days when I had the handguard lights on because it's high and noticable. I would do the same light you have next to the windscreen but wanted to know your feedback. And closer pics 😉
