Great, What were the difficulties you ran into? I am a mediocre DIY guy, not the greatest mechanic. Will I be able to tackle this job easy? How you liking the sound with the dbK in? Heard these model the dbK cannot be removed, not sure.

Ty for this post, I was just about to post similar question. I want to clean up the side panel and to remove actually the whole names tracer Gt everything. All can be done by just “hair dryer technique “ right. As in none of these things are under clear coat and stuff ?

Will look into those, looks very bright. Ouch x arc price is closing in on them oem blinkers. Might as well fork it out and bite the bullet. I like the option of oem blinkers having white running light like the head lights

Day time running light @wordsmith ty, will give it a try. Yes, I always give the eBay stuff a try and never dismiss without an attempt. Lot of good results . The blinker I just installed one yesterday. Looks good but not bright enough if suns out and shiny

@Cruizin I think I came across some rizoma stuff like these as well, don’t think they have drl option on them.

Been searching for a bang for buck led blinker plus dry set up. Either it’s the awesome but Expensive Yamaha OEM indicators at around 150 or it’s the cheap eBay no good stuff selling for 10 to 20 bucks. Has anybody found any good all Choice right in the middle, like bright enough , quality enough but not super expensive. Saw couple but they don’t seem to have drl function.

Depends on your financial situation and tendency to keep bike longer or freq “changer” difference between trading in or selling to getting new vs spending money to update old will be around 4k after all expenses. If you tend to keep the bike longer and financially able to swing that much money it’s definitely worth it. It’s not just add on the swing arm length and frame changes etc is well worth it. Plus all new bike with new suspension new tires etc all add up to catch up with cost over the long term.

Any one beaked the 2018+ tracer and tracer GT yet? Under the front the fastener location looks different to me. But I am just a mediocre DIY guy. @bugie

Hi, have you figured out if the cage fits with this exhaust? Any one with this exhaust there is prolly no option to remove baffles from exhaust right?

The search of old topics mentions about an aux access under the fairing and need a connector like these Motorcycle MT .090 Sealed Series - Connector and Terminals WWW.CYCLETERMINAL.COM Sumitomo - HM Sealed(Mounting Bracket type) and MT Sealed type Connectors for .090 - 2.3mm Terminal. These Connector s... is it still the same on new GT?

Tried searching most results were older I could pull up. Any oem aux port we can use for power for lights in GT any bang for buck fog/aux lights you guys using/ like? Don’t want to spend $$$ which I might only use 3-5 times whole year.

@fjrpittsburgh agree with everything he said. I had a 2006 fjr. Tweaked it to be as sporty as possible still it’s a heavy bike and the limits are not much. Unless you plan to do lot of 2 up long distance touring I think GT is capable of doing everything the fj does and much much better to move through twisties and inside your garage. @fjrpittsburgh are you from Pittsburgh PA? I live about 45 mins from there close to ohio border. Once winter breaks may be we can have GT party

Wonder if any one know the color codes for the silver fairing and “purple” wheels of tracer GT i want to powder coat coat and paint some aftermarket parts to match these. I know crazy idle winter ideas
