vic Posted March 14, 2022 Share Posted March 14, 2022 I picked up my new Tracer 9 GT last week and I’d like to fit a tank bag. I already have 2 very nice Evo SWMotech/Yamaha tank bags which I used on my old 900GT. SWMotech don’t seem to make an Evo tank ring for the T9, and I’m reluctant to buy new pro bags given the cost. larolco Posted March 15, 2022 Share Posted March 15, 2022 I just bought an Evo tank ring from Fortnine (Canadian company). It fits the 2020 and is listed to fit Yamaha, Ducati, MV Augusta. Probably the listing for 2021 isn't updated yet. I know I had to look at 2019 to find stuff for the 2020 when I first got it. The tank ring is indeed the same, but the 2022 Tracer 9 has a plastic fairing piece at the front of the tank very close to the filler cap. This blocks the clip on the EVO top ring. The solution I think is to raise the lower tank ring by about 8mm to clear the fairing. Hopefully a diy solution should be possible. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
