Supporting Member betoney Posted December 25, 2017 Supporting Member Share Posted December 25, 2017 Actually this are for fitting brembo calipers (different kind) or for conversion from 310 to 320 plus brembos So highly doubt something is near 12-12,5 mm as in need to 298-320 conversion Also 12,5 mm with oem 320 yamaha rotors /oem pads or brembo pads With this they work till the apex of diameter Suggest to fit the rotors and calipers/pads than measure if using a different set-up 75 mm screws are way too short Also quite all spacers for japanese bikes with nissin-tokico calipers are also a straight fit ( same inner/outer lip ) If we increase the rotor size by 22mm, the calipers need to be spaced out at least 11mm. Since you have already done this conversion, which specific spacers did you use? Obviously there are a lot of spacers that DO NOT work, which ones DO work? Do you have a link? Thanks ***2015 Candy Red FJ-09***
ghostrider1127
As i stated : 12,5 mm spacers 85 mm screws , with oem rotors and oem or brembo pads must also say rotors are new? used ? if used from which bike? In case of used rotors must fit them and check where the pads were sitting , than measure how much mm for the spacers
pattonme
I can make spacers with recess and protrusions accordingly. Just need to clear the decks of the fork sets I have to do.
norcal616
I do recall seeing in the service manual something about the ABS unit... When you turn the key to ON(thumb starter button is OFF, not sitting in the middle just ready to fire up motor) the ABS will go thru a "self diagnosis" for approx 10secs... you will hear it buzz and clicking noises... 2012 wr250f - C-class 30+ age group 2015 fz-07- Hordpower Edition-80whp 2015 fj-09- Graves Exhaust w/Woolich tune by 2WDW @120whp
pattonme
most of that buzzing/clicking I believe has to do with the fuel pump. Not to say the ABS also isn't doing stuff...
pattonme
if you want them professionally made and powdercoated gloss black they are $25/pair (min order 15 pairs) + bolts and 30 day lead time. If you want raw aluminum and you rattle can to your heart's content, $15/pair and say a week. The OE bolt is a flange-head M10x1.25 and 70mm long with 15mm worth of thread engagement. 80mm bolts are common and will work fine. The hole is thru-threaded so 90 works too. Bolts are about $9 each. 85's http://www.probolt-usa.com/mlsssc1085f-stainless-steel-socket-cap-bolt-m10-x-1-25mm-x-85mm.html 80's http://www.probolt-usa.com/mlsshx1080fbk-stainless-steel-flanged-hex-m10-x-1-25mm-black-x-80mm-black-1.html http://www.probolt-usa.com/mlsssc1080f-stainless-steel-socket-cap-bolt-m10-x-1-25mm-x-80mm.html
