polo
So didn’t know where else to post this. 1st off it’s my wife’s bike, she won’t do forums so I am on this website to keep current with the bike seeing how I am her mechanic. Both of us hate the stock garbage that they put on the bike from the factory, but understand why they do it. She mostly rides local stuff not using the bags, so doesn’t want the tail IE turn signals and license plate hanging way out there. So I come up with this and thought I’d share. I did replace the ugly turn signals with some Ninja ones I had laying around. The 2 sliders are 4” I got from amazon for 4 bucks each. And I 3D printed the cover for when they are extended, as in she’s riding with the bags on. I also had to extend the wires, but they tuck in nicely when retracted. Tried to take good pics, so hope it tells the story.

Odge
Amazing DIY! You made your own plastics? I had no idea that kind of fabrication was possible outside of a factory. Sometimes I feel like I'm waking up from a time capsule way technology advances. Are those drawer sliders? You must have gotten a few months worth of wife points with this one.
