Pannier Wrap

Anyone offering a wrap for the stock 900gt panniers? Found plenty of sticker kits but nothing for a wrap.

I've seen lots of guys with scuffed up panniers so i decided to get them wrapped with protective film. I went to a local auto detailing shop to get them done.  $200 each side.  Expensive but I thought it was worth it as I plan to keep the bike for a long time and it turned out great.  He gave me some film that was left over and I did the tank myself.  Turned out ok but not great.  Good luck.

For about $100, you could buy EVERYTHING you need to vinyl wrap the bag lids yourself.  There are plenty of YouTube videos showing how to wrap pieces and parts.  The Tracer side case lids are a pretty simple shape to vinyl wrap for 1/4 the price of having a professional do it for you.

There's always the choice of touching up the damaged lid with an auto paint touch up pen.  So simple to do and the bag won't look all that bad.  Damaged bags show everyone that you're a rider and not a poser.  And always remember, Chicks Dig Scars!

yea i did it myself. but it wasn't a good job. but it keeps the scuffs out. i wrapped it with oraguard paint protection sheet.

Surely you could get the lids re-sprayed, maybe more than once, for less money.  Besides, a few honourable marks show that the bike has been earning its living.  What the antiques trade calls "patina"!
