chris wilkins
Has anyone tried turning the risers ? Apparently it's a feature that they can be turned 180 degrees to give a longer reach of needed? Supporting Member texscottyd Posted August 27, 2020 Supporting Member Share Posted August 27, 2020 Yep, the factory risers can be rotated 180 degrees to give you choices in the fore & aft adjustment... It's a 10mm change, if memory serves. Remove the bar clamp caps at the top of the risers to get the handlebars free, loosen the nuts on the risers from under the triple clamp (a long extension and swivel will help), then rotate the risers 180 degrees. The handlebar mounting area is offset on the top of the riser, so rotating the lower portion relocates the bar relative to the rest of the bike. Simple but noticeable change. From the factory, it will be delivered in the rear position (bar closest to the rider).
