  1. I went with SW Motech crash bars since I could not source the light mount stay here in the US and bought the light mount kit. https://sw-motech.us/bike/YAMAHA/Tracer9GT/2022/RN70/products/protection/crash+bar/4052572208694.htm https://sw-motech.us/bike/YAMAHA/Tracer9GT/2022/RN70/products/safety/additional+headlights/light+mount/4052572021507.htm Going on the bars & mount will be these fog lights https://www.diodedynamics.com/stage-series-c1-yellow-sae-dot-fog-standard-led-pod-pair.html
  2. I bought mine after watching this YT video => https://youtu.be/S_sIzLoh1mg From that video, his torque references from the description are as follows: Torque wrench: top bolt 45 Nm, 33 lb ft Bottom bolt 60 Nm, 44 lb ft
  3. Yikes!! Sad and interesting to see the huge price differences on MotoMachines. I think you're right about no pricing agreement with Pyramid. Evotech and Hepco & Becker prices seem to be decent. Guess I'll shop directly from Pyramid on anything else I'm looking for. I'm not in a rush for these items so will cancel those Pyramid parts from MM.
  4. US dealer available to avoid the big shipping fees => https://www.motomachines.com/shop-by-bike/yamaha/tracer-9-gt I ordered an Evotech radiator guard, Pyramid front fender extenda and shock shield for now.
  5. Yes thanks for that! Received the item I quoted earlier and it was the incorrect plug as I have the newer model. Earlier models should be ok but anyone buying should double-check what plug and year/model they have.
  6. For iOS, I use DashCmd. It pairs well with my Kiwi3 from PLX Devices which I use between my car & truck. PLX also has their own app called Kiwi OBD but don't really use it much as I prefer the UI on DashCmd more intuitive and easy.
  7. Interesting, good to know! I saw a YT thread saying something about this, so thinking of getting the cable since I already have an old OBD2 scanner from awhile back. Looks like Amazon has this cable... https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B088YNT9WL
  8. Yea helps to do a little DIY/McGyver of the 12V USB power outlet to keep it in place as posted by others earlier. Also if its a cheapo bought online, those normally aren't quite up to spec, ie loose or tight. I bought mine on Amazon and noticed a similar issue, just wedged a small thin edge zip tie cut from the tip to wedge the 12V adapter in place. So far its held in place and no heat issues either.
  9. I'm leaning towards getting the Madstad after reading all the great info so thank you for the effort & time plus whatever amount of $$ spent to find the right windshield! I do have a few questions... so to adjust the windshield, you need 2 hands, ie stop then adjust accordingly versus one hand on the fly? And the GPS bracket they're referring to, is that the mounting system from Garmin (or TomTom)? I didn't see the bracket was listed on their site so wondering what I need or if I have it already. Also any issues once the GPS is mounted? Line of sight ok, GPS stays in position while riding and no or little vibrations? Thanks!
  10. Thanks for the link to the other thread! 👍 Lots of good input and will decide on the Madstad or touring screen.
  11. ^^ Exactly, someone else was paying attention too. 😊 Although I’m thinking of going with a different brand of windshield (National Cycle’s VStream windshield). So am curious if the install holes at least match between any and all years. I don’t mind doing a little DIY to fit the hand guards.
  12. Oh interesting, ok thanks! I don't mind doing a little dremel action on the windshield so it doesn't interfere with the handguards.
  13. Hey guys & gals, New '22 Tracer 9 GT owner here and have been reading/following some threads on mods and items of note. One thing I want to change is the windshield but can't find for certain.... is the windshield from the '19-20 Tracer 900 GT compatible with the '21 and up Tracer 9 GT? Thanks and looking forward to helping/posting on this forum! Robert
