  1. Road 6s looking nice and ready! I'm still on the OEM T32s and should be ready to switch out to those Road 6s in a month or two, so hoping to hear your ride feedback once you're all put together.
  2. Yes it's on the left side. YT video provided by another fellow Tracer rider... I used the aux connectors to install my Zumo XT.
  3. Still have Shoei Neotec and use it on the hotter rides due to its modularity. But I just picked up the GT-Air II along with Sena SRL-Mesh -- first few rides getting accustomed to it compared to the Neotec. Since Shoei's fit my head better, loving the comfort of the full face helmet and being a tad bit quieter overall.
  4. Hey thanks for sharing your story and experience! Maybe it did sound like a tour company ad but i don't mind. As a cyclist, I've done numerous Euro trips (Mallorca, Italy, Spain, France) and would love to try one for the moto side, so this is appealing to me! I've seen motos in those area and would be nice to experience areas from the other (easier) side. Definitely jotting notes on this area and Edelweiss. Maybe even meeting other from this forum on a future trip! Cheers!
  5. Yea I was looking at the Givi rack, but as I mentioned I have the Monolock case/style which is different from the Monokey. Givi did not have an adapter to mount their other style so I had to go with SW Motech. Now I can use the Givi/Kawasaki case on both my T9GT and C14 which I was lucky the blue color isn't too far off.
  6. Another alternative to the Yamaha rack is SW Motech which took only 10-15 min to install. You will need to buy an additional adapter which they support most top cases. I was able to bring over my Givi/Monolock case from my Kawasaki to use on T9GT.
  7. I switch my Zumo XT between my Tracer 9 GT and C14 and as long as it's clicked in firmly, it has not budged or accidentally un-clicked. I do have a case with a tether attachment for peace of mind but also when I do carry its used as a handle. Glad to see you're here Lather!!! I still have my 08 C14 and appreciate the raw power/speed of the 1400 but between commutes, short rides, versatility and drop in weight, the T9GT is now my fave! I do miss the keyless fob, TPMS and electric windshield at times, luckily added an aftermarket TPMS and the windshield is actually decent once set. The T9GT came in perfect timing as I reached over 100K on my C14 last year, so now adding some mileage on this bike!
  8. OUCH!! Some $$ lost as well Also is this the same 'lather' from the COG/C14?
  9. Welcome! Hope you can share a pic of your new steed and any accessories or mods you've done recently! Cheers!
  10. Check tire pressures and tire wear. Front wheel installed and bearings ok? I know it's a new bike but things might have come loose or not installed tight from the factory.
  11. From his profile, it shows Denmark so CycleGear is not an option unless he has family/friends willing to buy and ship.
  12. I've seen those installed on people's Tracer 9, so should work fairly well. Although not certain where it was purchased especially from AliExpress but should do the job. I don't have those specifically but bought a local US brand TechSpec for mine.
  13. Congrats on the new bike! What color did you get? Yea we're experiencing some cold weather too. As long as the roads aren't icy or covered in snow, I have heated gear (jacket & gloves) to help ride in this. Was easy to add the outlet from the battery. On longer trips I have pogies or hand covers which work both on my C14 and the T9GT.
  14. This reminds me I need to update my old Shoei Neotec 1 helmet. I've been researching the GT-Air II so keeping an eye on this topic with the SRL2. Currently my Neotec is using the 20S and don't think the clamp will fit. What color/styles do people have or like?
  15. Yes very interesting, and in the bay area! Wonder if the previous owner took it on some gravel trails around the area or to maybe Tahoe, Vegas, etc. To each their own but if I were taking a more road oriented bike off road with tires like that, I would also add some protection like oil pan, engine/body bars, etc.
  16. Do you mean "poll"? It's right next to Create new topic, click "Poll" =>
  17. Good point on possible interference wheel and caliper removal for the Akra. Yea $1800+ for the higher end Akra is really pushing it. LV is looking more reasonable considering these things now...
  18. Wow, love the color and mods! Wheel stickers is a nice touch. Also what brand is the bottom oil protection? Thanks for sharing! I'm still looking for a US dealer that can get the Akra reasonably before I decide.
  19. Thanks @betoney@Heli ATP I agree, the LV is near the right heel but not in the way or under the saddle bag out back. Ok making a few more searches for savings and/or shipping specials and will pull the trigger soon! Thanks everyone!
  20. Thanks for the info. I agree Akrapovic is definitely expensive. I'm leaning towards Leo Vince only on price since both seem to be reasonable on performance. I've only seen one person/business that reflashes the new T9GT ECUs, so might consider that if the new exhaust gives me any issue. Installation on either exhaust looks fairly straightforward although haven't seen any reviews if the Akropovic hampers the centerstand. LV says no issues with the stand so that's good!
  21. I'm looking to upgrade the stock on my '22 Tracer 9 GT. Anyone with either the Akrapovic carbon or Leo Vince system installed and what you like and don't like? Best value for the money with a little performance would be good. Both saying weight reductions compared to OEM, so that's good. Vanity wise, both look good. From what I've seen or heard on YT, either don't sound obnoxious. Ak. carbon model: https://www.akrapovic.com/en/moto/product/21246?brandId=41&modelId=1154&yearId=6647 Ak. titanium model: https://www.akrapovic.com/en/moto/product/21247?brandId=41&modelId=1154&yearId=6647 LV: https://www.leovince.com/en-us/product/1812-0552-lv-race-yamaha-tracer-9-gt-2021-2022 Any others I'm missing that I might consider? Thanks for any input!
  22. Welcome Brent! Another PNW here too in the Seattle area! Good find on your FJ09! But hope you can get your FZ1 running too.
  23. Definitely recommend the hardwire option. More reliable without losing power. Also leaves your aux port for some other device like your phone or action cam.
  24. These look great, definitely agree the gold color makes it pop and matching the forks! So only the clutch lever needed grinding, right? No modifications needed on the brake lever? Also I'm curious if you reached out to ASV on this? I know it was easy to just grind the extra material down but it could be a manufacturing defect so might be worth pinging them. Will add this to my spring farkle list anyways! Thanks for sharing!
  25. Sounds interesting! Looking forward to some photos! Trying to see what my next farkle is for the new year and this could be it.
