Install the Honda CB handlebar “weights” inside my bars, see if there’s a difference
I never bothered with all the other ideas- main culprit is the front sprocket- replace with a plain jane one that don't have a rubber damper...

I'm a new Tracer Gt owner and have had a terrible problem with buzzyness. I've owned several bikes over the years and this one was the worst. Reading other comments I followed up with grip puppies, rubberized pegs and lead filled bars. Even added bar end weights (10 oz. ea.) and noticed very little difference. The bike had 1,200 miles on it and as you ran through the gears at 5 k + rpm the vibrations got worse. I thought I was being overly sensitive so I rode my buddies Triumph Speed Triple and that bike was butter smooth. Getting ready for a 700 mile trip to Barbers Vintage Festival 2019 I took the bike to the dealer and had the throttle bodies synced; that helped some. The trip to Barbers was not pleasant, I had to constantly ride with one hand on the bars to give the other time to un-numb.
I read on the forum where some contributed the buzzyness to the rubberized countershaft sprocket. And, some thought that was hogwash. I went ahead and replaced the sprocket with a non-rubber version and ALL the buzz went away. At all RPM's and speed the bike is now butter smooth. It was an amazing transformation and my Gt is now a pleasure to ride. Thanks to the forum members for your thoughts.
I totally agree with your statement about the rubber damping on the front sprocket... It never let the chain ride on the sprocket properly...it allowed the outside chain links to ride on the front half of the chain link on the rubber(the back half of the link just barely touched the rubber) vs the normal way which is to let the inner rollers ride on the sprocket...

Curse you @norcal616 - I didn't need to know that I can put a Turbo on my FJ. Now I won't sleep.
The FZ-09 shares the same airbox part number as the FJ-09, I dunno about the Tracer/GT bikes...
But here's the "curse" in action 😁

Time for forced induction with smaller sized engines... we already got a turbo kits for the CP2, CP3 and CP4 motors...even starting to have the kits run on e85, can you imagine the lil ole CP2 putting down 145whp/100tq on e85 🤪( granted it needs bigger 650cc injectors, aftermarket springs/rods/valves, HD clutch springs, ARP stud kit and ceramic coated pistons)...

We never got the 2018 bikes in the USA... we got the 2015-17 FJ-09 then the 2019+ Tracer/GT...
It didn't help Yamaha had 2 different names for the same bike till 2019 which adds to the confusion...
2015-17 - 1st gen
2018+ 2nd gen

well I can tell you I have the Tracer seat on my FJ for what that's worth. Did the seat configurations change on these models?? Those are pretty drastic park number differences - I was think stitching would be a possible difference.
Even looking at the parts list, the seats are totally different( granted the pictures are kinda generic)... gotta be a different pan for the FJ and Tracer/GT bikes...the Tracer/GT looks to have different material/colors/stitching between the 2...

Looking at the parts list: I see 3 different part numbers for the passenger seat...
FJ-09- 2PP-247OH-00-00
TRACER- B5C-24750-00-P0
GT- B5C-247OH-10-00

Resurecting this thread to ask for some guidance as I've searched but cannot find.
I can find plenty of discussion on wheel rim decals but wondered if there was a decal available for the grooved line in the side panels as indicated below? Or even suggestions of what others have done/used would be appreciated. I'm actually thinking of doing some rim stripes as well all in RED. .... or should I choose GOLD? I do like the red on black look though and I do have that nice red K-Tech Razor-R installed. Decisions, decisions......🤔
What do the learned majority with a more 'artsy' eye think?
Cheers
No decal- a few members have used colored pin stripe style tape, IIRC @wordsmithhas done this a few times...

Various legal reasons... its easier to have speedos read slightly higher than actual speed...
-
My solution to the colors is to have all the body plastics "clear enough to see thru" as well as a "clear see thru" gas tank... that way the future owners can get the bike painted to the color they want...

Just email the pictures you wanna post to yourself- they will automatically get reduced in size...

Cheap worthy upgrade would be a Stoltec fork kit- either in a DIY kit or pre-assembled swap of the cartridge cores... That would a night/day improvement...

Ok, so to keep the challenge a bit challenging indeed, I will refrain from participating. It is a bit too easy for anyone from The Netherlands and it would be unfair to participate😎
Go for it if you can do it... I really didn't think we had forum members in Netherlands/Holland...
