  1. Things I've confirmed are the same and I've modified: Foot pegs, radiator guard, tail light, tail tidy, front fender extender, exhaust, blinker fittings, Air filter, axle sliders, kickstand. The R1 tach protector skin is the same as the Tracer GT. Confirmed as different for mods: windscreen, headlights, seat
  2. yeah! that's my bike! haha. I think the seat looks more level than the stock seat. I haven't had a chance to sit on my bike with this seat yet, and won't get to until late Jan or Feb. But there is a photo on the Corbin website that shows a "curtain" where you can move a bar across and it changes the left being stock to the right being Corbin. From this picture of the back half of the bike, it looks like it levels out earlier, and this side shot angle makes the seat seem pretty level and parallel to the floor at the "nose" of the seat, instead of being crammed up against the tank
  3. You should take a picture of them shining the ground in the dark with it off and on for comparison. I do a lot of night riding, and want something that looks sleek and not so out of place or bulky, and this looks pretty good!
  4. Just purchased the ECU flash and Akrapovic Titanium exhaust combo with a Sprint high performance air filter for my GT from Vcyclenut.com. Already cant wait for the Spring!
  5. I went for a 3 hour slower paced ride 2 up, on the GT and it was better than other bikes I've ridden, but about 2 hours in, you started to feel that seat pains. Hopefully the Corbin seat will be even better.
  6. Lots of truth. Did you know you can change what you have on the display though? I liked seeing the engine temp, but hated that as well (that the air temp showed twice. seemed like a waste of space). So I scrolled through the menu and changed so I have trip 1 showing with my engine temp now. Usually I keep it on that display but sometimes check out my fuel consumption/mpg average just to see how im doing. What do you mean no fuel range? I was getting about 220 miles if I pushed it that far. I typically fill up around 180-200 tho. Much better than my buddy with the fz 09, and another buddy with an xrs900 who *have to fill up around 120-150
  7. Like gv550 said: cruise control, heated grips, panniers, longer swingarm, adjustable windsceen. Also the windscreen shape, the hand guards, the handle bars are more narrow, the passenger foot pegs are lower and the passenger grab rails are different. The quickshifter, and the ECU/fuel mapping is also a little different, I believe. The front and rear suspension (and rear suspension is easier to adjust). The TFT dash, and the seats have all changed
  8. They made it sound like they were going to turn it from the two seats- a "rider seat" and a "passenger seat" (like stock), and merge it into one seat (Turn the key and the whole seat compartment comes up). I am not sure how it will go for the adjustable function on the seat, either. Here is the seat of the previous model seat style. It has heated in the front and back but the website says that it is not height adjustable (for the previous model) "Our one piece seat mounts to your bike in place of the two piece OEM seat and integrates with the Yamaha key lock system" from their website http://corbin.com/yamaha/yfj09r.shtml
  9. Hey everyone! I took my bike to California so they can start making Corbin seats for the GT. I think they should be ready before the holidays I got it there Saturday (a week ago) and they say it typically takes 3-4 weeks. They are closed the week of Thanksgiving, so I would think they could be ready by 12/1ish! But maybe longer... I wont be back to pick it up till January Hopefully that just means they will make more goodies for it since they will have it longer!
  10. I got a Tach protector, tail tidy, FJR foot pegs, radiator guard, and the front fender extender for the first few that were added. just ordered axle protection and battling between engine guards. Front fender extender extends the front wheel cover to fling less dirt/rocks/water at the radiator/engine. I am also going to flash and get an exhaust soon from Vcyclenut.com The flash does: Fuel Changes to match your modifications Ignition timing for better throttle response and more power Customizing all 3 throttle modes Disabling the speed limiter Disabling the AIS Disabling injector decal cut Option to start in A mode Disable o2 sensor or closed loop fueling lower fan temp activation Decrease engine braking on initial roll off Enabling a quick shifter (up shift only)
  11. I did get an Evotech rad guard already, and I plan on taking off the hand guards in the spring and trying that out when it warms up. so I guess I may like it and get some normal bar ends down the line. I am thinking of getting rear TST Womet-Tech spool/sliders ($19 USD) and maybe their $40 front sliders. still looking around though. I am tempted to get the old model givi crash bars, but my new LED front signals are not rubber mounted so I worry it will rub that or not fit properly. I have been told by someone else either on here or facebook that it should fit snugly, but im worried about taking that leap https://tstindustries.com/Womet-Tech-Swingarm-Spools-Sliders-Womet-Tech-Yamaha.html
  12. Hey what types of axle or handle bar-end sliders are you using? Any work with the hand guards on for a GT? Has anyone seen what the GIVI TN2139 engine bars look like yet? All the pictures say not available where ever I have seen them.
  13. What bracket did you use for the light bar under the headlights and what lights do you have at the bottom of your forks?
  14. I got one off Ebay and the integrated tail light is sweet so I can still use my side bags if I want to, but I normally ride with them off. I think this one was meant for a EU license plate, because it had additional brackets that came with it and I did not like them so I just punched new holes in my US plate and covered the old holes with the registration stickers. Also recently painted my silver panels flat black. https://www.ebay.com/itm/272969152389
  15. What bracket/how did you mount the light bar to the forks like that? I know there is a seller on Ebay that sells a kit, but the light itself is like $8.00 and the kit is like $60.00
  16. I like it but you might need something like this as well. I wish I had a running light for my front blinkers. You'll have to add some pictures of how it looks when it is installed! https://www.amazon.com/Yamaha-Adapters-Spacers-Aftermarket-Indicators/dp/B01BH5YH4G/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1537043850&sr=8-2&keywords=Yamaha+blinker+adapter&dpID=41GFFrAF96L&preST=_SX300_QL70_&dpSrc=srch
  17. I got some work done yesterday on the bike! I painted panels on my GT from silver to flat black, powder coated the passenger grab-rails to Blurple, added tank pad decals and changed Front to LED blinkers. I've also been playing around with suspension settings
  18. There is a Tracer GT section that can be found on the home page. maybe create a thread there or just post it here?
  19. What wind screen is this? Do you have a link? Im thinking of getting a "sport screen" and a "touring screen" and may have found the SPORT!
  20. Mind sharing what tidy tail, integrated tail light and front blinkers your using for your Tracer GT? I used a CustomLED integrated tail light with the flasher relay for the previous years FJ-09 (it fits perfect and plug and play) with the flasher relay. I got an ebay tail tidy, and am still waiting for the front blinkers from ebay. (should arrive on Thursday!) 21. I installed a tail tidy, integrated tail light, rad guard, front fender extender, rim reflectors, rubber foot pegs, dash screen protector, and have front blinkers on order
  22. Thanks! I got the Evotech Performance guard and painted on the Nightwing Logo from the DC comics
  23. Already at 1200 miles, and have done a few mods: tail tidy, integrated tail light, new foot pegs, rim reflectors, radiator guard, front fender extender, dash protector. Still on order are LED front signals
