Ha! No worries... I do stuff like that all the time.
Your clutch is now cable-free regardless, as I recall. Still happy with the hydraulic conversion?
Yes - my Brembo setup is awesome - smooth as butter

I believe you're talking about the clutch cable on the early FJs, which was prone to breaking up near the bars due to an odd shape of one of the bends of the cable... it was superseded on the parts list with an improved replacement, and many (most?) FJs have already been retrofitted with the new part.
This is the throttle cables that he's discussing; the mechanical end of the ride-by-wire fuel injection system. I don't recall this one ever coming up before, but it may be that I just missed it at some point in the past.
Oh Jesus - yes... I'll go back to my rock..... glad you are still here...

I'm not aware of any issues with the cables on these bikes, and don't recall having seen anything about this pop up on the forum before. I honestly haven't looked at the details of the setup on mine (so not familiar with the adjustment options), but the first thought would be making sure they're adjusted properly. I remember two cables, so it must me a 'push/pull' setup, and those can start to bind up if they're too far out of adjustment... basically they'll start working against each other in light-pressure throttle controls.
That said, for less than $35 to replace, it's probably not worth spending too much time trying to troubleshoot the existing parts.
I thought there was a known problem with the "original" cable and it was quickly replaced with a newer revision. So much in fact, I swapped out mine just on that fact..

I love mine - for my behind it was may more comfortable that my Sargent.

Welcome - and I can tell you it's easy to double the cost of this bike with goodies - I believe I have done just that

My Bagster dogs my old Sargent. However, it really a person preference and depends on where you sit-bone lie. Like stereo speakers. What sounds excellent to one, sounds like ass (no pun intended) to another.. Went numb all the time on the Sargent, never once this season on the new Bagster.

Ah, that’s good. I was afraid you were going to say you had found a source for ultra-trick titanium hex-drive air box screws... you know, the kind of stuff that sends @coachluciano into a buying frenzy!
Did someone say "Spend Money??" @texscottyd I was in the shower and my pockets started tingling..

320mm rotor conversion and Brembo Corsa Corta Master Cylinder - the mechanics and adjust-ability on that lever are awesome - same used on all the MotoGP bikes. - Steel line of course and the upgraded pads -
Just realized said rear - I was referring to front on the Brembo comments. Personally, I hardly use the rear brakes unless I'm stopped on a hill.

What have folks done to improve the rear brakes stopping power on the FJ-09 2015?

Now to go shopping for accessories
@Arsenaldeb I have had a slight obsession with accessories. More like improvements, but anything in my signature you want to know about, reach out. Yes I doubled the cost of the bike - but I also doubled the pleasure.

Amen brother!!! As long as you pick your spots to do it and are safe about it, give her hell!
I was literally giggling in my helmet yesterday. 3rd gear around 95, this bike has spunk. Lots of it. Just amazes me every time I roll the throttle and the bike just wants to go.

Yeah I have heard about the affects the handguards can have on the aerodynamics. The only time it has really bothered me is when following or passing semis. I just bought some cheap bar ends from Amazon for $10. If they don't work out I will go with the factory ones. The reviews for the cheap ones were petty good though.
Have not had a single high speed wobble since dumping the stock hand guards. I’ve hit 133 with zero issues. In fact I hit triple digits whenever the opportunity arises. Have not had one aero issues since.

@stevesweetzI have my stock hand guards from my '15 if your interested. Perfect condition

I have the best clutch setup on this bike bar none. Not tooting my horn, but tooting my horn. My Brembo setup is Effen nice. Not even in the same category with Magura. And I love Magura. Have them on my Scalpel. Brembo offers some mechanical advantages that Magura is probably envious of.

There IS not such thing as a dumb question, but there ARE dumb people who ask questions... Clearly not on this forum as we all own FJs and that was a smart choice...
